What an experience in Koka! Incredible from the beginning (the homemade butter) to the end (cream cheese ice cream). The wine list is one of the best I ever had. With some unknown flavours, everything shows the amount of effort and research they put in. The atmosphere is great and not pretentious. In a word: perfect

Scandanavia is real foodie place and this restaurant in Sweden's second city didn't disappoint. Pick a 3, 5 or 7 course meal and away you go. If you need 6....that's ok too. My daughter and I enjoyed it all. Fun, accessible and delicious. Not horribly expensive and great environment.

Koka is a unique restaurant with great Swedish food. It is clear that attention to detail is paid in every aspect from the service to the food.

Both the cuisine and the interior are truly based on local resources. We had an amazing variety of berries, roots, fish and greens that represented everything that's great about the Swedish summer. Even the details were right, like the typically Swedish wooden butter knives or beautiful smooth stones from the skerry coast as knife rests. The staff is nice and... More

As all things Swedish, this place is quite trendy. And because all things Swedish also seems quite pricey, we decided to go for the 3 course meal but even then I think we ended up having about 8 dishes each because of the various amuse bouche! Excellent customer service by staff who know their food and wine menus well. Would... More

We had an wonderfull evening there boath having the 5 course menue. The courses were all very good. Staff was very friendly. they had a mixup in the kitchen so we had to wait a bit for the starters but they excuse (which for me is enough). I think it is great value for what you get and the water... Restaurant serving local food with international touch. The staf is great and give you feeling to be with friends. Still taking care of all the small things. The restaurant servers 3, 5, 6 or 8 dishes, with possible wine arrangement. All are small presents.

Had an exceptional experience. Service was great. 3 course set dinner was more than enough, with all the little extras you get. Food was exciting, well presented and really interesting in terms of the mix of textures and flavours. The pork belly was a stand out dish. Reminded me of Dabbous or a Texture in London. If you want tasty... More

What to say, this reastaurant is a bit strange as it does not have a menu. Every day the proposal changes, you can only choose in between the number of courses (3, 5, 7). And, also, if you want a wine menu or not. I decided to have a three courses dinner with wine menu, and the quality of food... More
