It now has one Michelin star and deserves it. Extremely knowledgable staff. Very interesting setting (butter is served on a stone). The food was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Danish design, spacious restaurant and professional staff to begin with. Beautifully prepared and served food. One dish was a bit salty, but all was excellent fresh with creative chosen herbs and accompanying veggies and more. Excellent for a tete a tete, but also for a proper business diner. Wines served combined perfectly with the food.

If you want something special and can afford around 1 000 SEK you will get your best dinner ever including the correct wine to every plate. The staff live for you and the service is extraordinary. The retaurant is ranked nr one in Gothenburg, and there are lots of fantastic places!

On a recommendation by a friend we went here, and in short it was an amazing night out. We took the 3 course meal, and that was just about the perfect amount of food for us. Flavours were unexpected and tantalising, and dishes were well balanced by itself in conjunction with the other courses. The accompanying wine menu included interesting... More

I had dinner at Koka last night -- what a treat! I had the five course menu with wine pairings, and added a cheese course. The menu consisted of (roughly, not all ingredients included) (1) salmon with trout roe and fir needles (with a dry white); (2) mackerel with mussels, egg yolk and spinach (rose); (3) asparagus in asparagus cream... Visited the restaurant for the first time. We were met by a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere with a definite nordic design to the furniture. We choose the 5 course menu which was just about right amount of food for us for an evening. This was accompanied by an interesting set wine selection which obviously suited the food marvelously. I thought... More

We were eager to try the degustation from Koka while in Gothenburg (visiting from Australia). We opted for the five course menu and had this specially adapted for us so it didn't include any seafood courses. They did such an exceptional job to accommodate this and at no compromise to the food whatsoever! We didn't go for the matching wines... More

Very nice place. Interior, service, and above all the food. We had seven dishes with accompanying wine package. The combination were in som cases excellent, but maybe two not so good ( in my taste).
