I ordered satay curry chicken. It came loaded in a cornstarchy sauce and was pretty awful. Food was less than mediocre. Charged us 26 SEK for two glasses of ice water.

The restaurant is nice, but price are really too high... we chose a fixed price menu and as a result we got small portions of dishes that were probably ready to be served before our arrival, as they tasted not fresh as they had been cooked at the moment.

Close to central station Looks nice from the outside, I would say even enticing. Once you get in its a pretty mid range oriental restaurant with a couple of water features and a fish tank. No table clothes. That to me lowers the expectation! I was here on a a Wednesday night. After the other couple left I was the... More

We arrived after working a late day and hoping to still catch them open. We had noticed the restaurant earlier in the day, and had been thinking of having dinner there all day. Restaurants in Gothenburg tend to close early. When we arrived around 11 pm we found that they had already put their chairs up and were getting ready... More

Oh, good Lord. Greasy spring rolls - no dipping sauce provided. Grilled beef stone dry. Grilled chicken dry. battered and deep-fried dick was appalling. That was the first time I have ever had to spit out food in a restaturant. I felt like Gordon Ramsay. Totally horrible taste of grease. It oozed with fat. Salad provided tasted like fridge. Desert... We were so looking for some nice Asian foods in town but what a disappointment! First the restaurant was empty which is always a bad sign. We were the only couple inside! The food was too fry and didn't taste that much. Only the starter were ok (dim sum). My roast duck was ok nothing else. Bad choice of place... More

All I want to say is, they have a different price for take-away which is lot cheaper than to dine-in. Don't be shy, even local sometime order take-away, if your hotel is nearby, definitely take away, much cheaper. I ate three times in this restaurant, food not as authentic as true Malaysian food, but it's the closest and decent Asian... More

We were five people, two chose vegetarian food. That was not exactly what you call "vegetarian food" . Three or perhaps four different of canned vegetables in a row with a bleak sauce. The rest of us who ate chicken and meat got okay food but the vegetarians had to go to another restaurant to be satisfied! Not very nice... More

Being a Malaysian, I was more than happy when I found Malaysia Sate Restaurant in Gothenburg. I told my husband, whose a Norwegian we have to try this restaurant out!! He told me I would be dissapointed but hey, when you are so far away from home, anything that reminds you of home is welcome!! Through enough, the whole experience... More
