Description: Hos Pelle is a bistro with a personal touch, which serves carefully prepared dishes of the highest class. It serves classic Swedish dishes such as: boiled salted brisket of beef with horseradish sauce; fried bacon with onion sauce; roast veal with sherry and cream sauce; and fried herring with puréed potato. Hos Pelle also has a wine bar and a separate dining room with a more modest menu, where you can enjoy a drink and hang out in small or large parties.

Nice, quiet and with good food, the menu is limited, but with a kind of menu offering with a few choices, well worth your money.

This is a cozy place where you give up some degrees of freedom for getting high quality food for reasonable prices. So you can only choose between a few starters and two main courses + vegetarian (fish or meat). That´s it. But on the other hand this a creative place with a bit of unorthodox cooking but always great taste... More

We were introduced to this intimate restaurant by friends in Goteborg and were glad of it. We all settled on a fresh tasting frothy fish soup. There was a nice contrasting crunch of celery and I could taste the unique flavors of the many kinds of fish in this specialty of the house. My beer was a nice compliment to... More

We have been at Hos Pelle some times this year, both for lunch and in the evening. We have been very satisfied every time, they take as good care of the lunch food as the more expensive evenings. I can really recommend it, very swedish food, both fish and meat, the three-course menus are very priceworthy.

We had Pelle's menu, with three different little starters, three desserts, and a choice among three main courses. Everything was excellent (including the wines) and the menu is great for sharing by larger parties, although it's hard to understand how they could have run out of fish when there were only three main courses to begin with. Other than that,... More

Overall a very pleasant experience. Staff and service was great and kept pace with the diners rather than setting a slower or faster pace. Impressevie. We had a three course meal that was very good. The wines suggested were good and I would definitely recommend going here.

We ate at Hos Pelle tonight, with the family. Although it is not a restaurant you would go with kids, they took good care of the kids, with a nice simple meal. The adults got a very good menu, with a choice of starters and desert, and a very nice main course. The service was very friendly and efficient.

Thiis is a really excellent restaurant with genuine Swedish food! My wife and I love it. I prefere eating in the Bistro, cheaper and even norr genuine (but less to choose from). I recomend Hos Pelle most warmly!

Hos Pelle is one fo those places you just have to love. It's a restaurant that serves real food, not some fancy stange food combo that might look cool, but doesn't really count as food. For example, they take slow cooked meats to new heights. The concept is a bit different. You don't choose you starters or deserts, just the... More
