BEYOND THE SEA, the Siamese Brasserie, always welcomes you with the sense of familiarity and inviting atmosphere. Located in ShaSa Resort & Residences, Koh Samui serving authentic thai cuisine presented with a genteel western aesthetic style to deliver a flawless experience. In the early afternoon, the air is filled with the rich aromas of coffee. These give way to clinks of plates into full swing for the evening. Once the sun falls below the horizon into the night, you can share a great conversation with old friends while enjoying a drink from the premium list at the vintage bar.

We ate at this restaurant as a treat for our 1 year wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The service was the best we have had on koh samui & the food was just as good. I have absolutely no idea what the last review I read was talking about when they complained about the food and service as ours... More

We are staying at the Shasa resort (where this is part of) and have so far been very disappointed by the quality of this restaurant. It seems like this is perhaps being run by a 3rd party company as the service/quality is just well below par compared to the rest of the resort (which has been excellent so far). As... More

The problem for the management of Beyond the Sea is that it is tucked away in Shasa Resort in the little visited south-east corner of the island. Despite their best efforts at advertising, I suspect it is difficult for them to attract tourists (and even locals) from the main population centres further north. Which is why, I guess, all our... We tried dinner at this restaurant and thought it could be better. My wife ordered a Peach Bellini cocktail which was served in a wine glass! I ordered baby squid stuffed with minced lamb but it was quite tough and chewy The main course of fish was quite nice but we cant eat rice so we were offered some bread... More

We drove here by motorbike today, from Chaweng beach about a half an hour drive and easy to find if you follow the huge signs, they have also been advertising like crazy and still we were only one of 2 tables. Our salads were delicious, my husbands nicoise, with fresh seared tuna and my pomelo salad was super, except they... More

The restaurant offers a large variety of both Thai/Local and western food. The quality is excellent and the prices are reasonable prices. We stayed 6 days in the attached hotel (Shasa) and dined there most of the days without getting bored by the food.

We stayed at Shasa so we ate here on a number of occasions. The service was great most of time. I found the servings to be small for the price you pay! I was disappointed with the vegetarian fried rice, a cup of rice with a couple of veggies for 220 Thai baht...ridiculous! Some of the meals were delicious though.
