This restaurant is one of the shrinking number in Stockholm that focuses on serving traditional Swedish food and it does so in a location that is steeped in history. It's a great place to take visitors to Sweden to give them a a taste of traditional fare. Prices are not cheap, but the food quality was good and the ambiance... More

The place is very characteristics and well-attended for lunch. At Christmas time, there is a very nice atmosphere. They offer the traditional Swedish Christmas buffet, with all the classics, but with the addition of more and more interesting cold cuts, cheeses, meat, salmon etc. It can be a bit pricy, but worth trying.

This resturant looks very fancy from the outside and it's pretty nice enviroment inside. However you should expect to pay almost 200 SEK for a one course lunch. We were ready to pay that price but of course we also expected to get what we paid for. The food is good but not exceptional or even great. They pay a... More

I think this place is a perfect choice for lunch when you show Stockholm to someone, especially if this someone dislikes touristic places. It is soaked in traditions, from design to the faces of people. Food is good, the prices are fairly high. Coffee is excellent, even at lunch. Be prepared that candlelight destroys most of the oxygen in the... More

Interessant old/traditionnal building in the middle of a modern area. The restaurant might be worth a visit because of the surrounding and the pleasant atmosphere. However, keep in mind that this is an upper end place: You would not feel at ease in too casual clothe and the prices are fairly high.

The restaurant is in a beautifully restored coaching inn just outside of the center of Stockholm. The menu is traditional Swedish fare and there is a nice wine list to accompany the fine food. The service is terrific. Make a reservation and dress accordingly.

This restaurant, located in a very old and pretty building used to be very "IT" Nowdays, however it has turned more into a luncheon kind of place. Every year I go with some friends to eat "Smörgåsbord" which all Swedes do before Christmas! The restaurant was pretty inside, decorated. We were given a very nice table and showed to the... More

Set in an an 1731 inn you enjoy classic swedish homecooking and some international dishes with no fuzz. Food is simply delicious but do not go here after a tapas bar visit or looking for slim line eating. Here you get well prepared and quality mamas food and its tasty, beautiful and satisfying. Everything served quickly by competent staff in... More

Cozy little restaurant on the Surbrunnsgatan. It used to be an Inn. Very nice food, friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. It's a little bit out of the city center, but it is worth the trip!!
