Really good dim sum in Stockholm

We have been to Shogun for dim sum on several occasions over the last two years (i.e. since they changed location to the one on Stora Nygatan), and we have never been disapponted. It is very hard to get good dim sum in Stockholm. Yes, there are a lot of dumpling places in Stockholm (most of them... read more

The best way to recognize a top notch Asian Restaurant is by its customers. The more elder folks there the better the is place! This is the best place to go to enjoy an amazing Dim Sum experience. Top of the line service and a tasty menu. Has all the necessary dishes and even offer parts of the Japanese cuisine.

I have had dim sum (yam cha) all over the world and this place really can hold it's own compared with Chinatown SF, Chinatown London and Sydney. Only in New York have I had better (the Golden Unicorn). This is one of my favourite restaurants in my home town and I am a regular. The dim sum menu is extensive... More

Had dinner at Shogun the other night and the food was really good and the service excellent. The hot towels before the dinner was a nice touch. We had around ten courses and all of them was good, especially the cow tripe which was a little peppery.

A few friends and I headed to Shogun on Boxing Day afternoon (yes, they were open on 26th Dec!) right after we heard from another friend at our Christmas party that Shogun was the place to have real dim sum in Stockholm. This little restaurant is conveniently tucked away in a cosy corner of Gamla Stan. Decent décor. The Chinese... More

Went here with friends to have shabu-shabu (japanese hot pot). It was good and the quality of the meat was high. I missed the funny little mushrooms you get in Japan, but all in all it was good. Also had Soba with Tempura and some sashimi - all good. They have Asahi beer but unfortunately not my favorite Yebishu. Definitely... More

Friends suggested eating at this restaurant, and not being an overly adventurous eater I was a little apprehensive, but my fears were completely unfounded. I liked immediately the calm atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. We ate a selection of dim sum and I thought each offering not only looked attractive and beautifully presented, but tasted wonderful. This experience... More

We were starving and looking for some place to eat without leaving there 200kr each for a soup and a cup of coffee, so we tried this place and were very pleased by getting a soup, a main dish, sushi and a drink for 220kr total. I still do agree, that it's not the best sushi in the world, but... More

Great place to eat dim sum in the middle of Gamla Stan. Service was very quick and flavours excellent. Staff are very helpful and accommodating even with young children.

The food destroyes the fantasy of japanese food. Udon is not strong, sasimi and susi is made of low-price fish. Further japanese green tea is not provided for the guests. Fully disappointed for that high prices even in Stockholm.
