This is a very good place to take a beer and eat schnitzel and other Czech foods. Its very popular and if you want to be sure to get a table you should be there at 17.00 when they open, you can´t book a table. If you get there later than 17.00 you will probably have to wait quite a... More

If you love beer you must visit this little bar. it is busy all hours and every day, and no wonder why. It serves the best of the Czech republic, food and drink and at a very humane price.

The sausage and cheese plate was enough for a meal, but the schnitzel was also very good. The properly poured beer with a thick foamy head was delicious. The atmosphere is casual and became crowded and noisy. Food was moderately priced, beer a bit expensive. A great place to go!

It isn't possible to book a table at this pretty small restaurant and bar. Maybe that's part of why it has a relaxed and bohemic feel. Food is good and affordable (czech beer and food) and the crowd is both young and older. Not part of Stockholms fine wining and dining but definitely worth a visit.

Very nice Czech tavern. The food is great for a tavern, and the beer is perfect. They really know how to tap a Czech beer! The service is great. Dont expect excessive politeness, but you will be served quickly and really enjoy the atmosphere. Try the sausages and cheese platter, followed by a schnitzel and finish up with a slivovitsj.... We went to that place for drinks and dinner. They had a decent choice of Czech beer at normal Stockholm prices. The food comes in generous quantities and it tastes great! Actually a very good selection of central European dishes and rather cheap for Stockholm standards. The service was quite fast too!

Opened in 73 makes Soldaten Švejk one of the long lived traditional restaurants in Stockholm. They offer only good Czech beers, some Czech spirits not found in Sweden otherwise (ask for Becherovka, Slivovice or Fernet! ) and good priced traditional Czech food (try the fried cheese, goulash or some of the schnitzels). The portions are huge! You cannot book a... More

We bought a beer and took a table. 5 min later a waitress would lift our glasses and tell us to leave the table because she had "food guests" - this was NOT a dining area, but a bar area. We refused to leave the table, but the whole visit was spoiled! - rude people!

Svejk is still a great place in town. Reasonably priced (110-130 kr), huge and excellent main courses. Excellent but not so cheap czech beer selection. We only had to wait 15 mins to get a table (booking is not available). We never had problems with the service and it's a pity that this place gets so low points just because... More

About 10 different czech beers on tap (> 60 SEK), including unfiltered and unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell. Decent selection of central/east european food such as schnitzels, breaded cheese, pork loin and Cevapcici, all come in big portions. Moderately priced for Stockholm at around 120 SEK and delicious. Really busy when we visited on Saturday, queued for an hour for a table.
