Wedholms Fisk has been in its current location by Nybrokajen since 1985. Many of the staff, both amongst the pots and pans as well as amongst the tables, have been there since the doors were first thrown open to the first expectant guests. However, this does mean that time has stood still - the kitchen gleams with newly installed top of the range equipment and an inspiration to keep abreast of developments in food and cuisine.

The tasting menu was great!

We had the tasting menu, a pricy and opulent, five course tour of the culinary riches of Wedholms Fisk. The meal was great from beginning to end! This is wonderful fish, done in very classical styles. Appetizers included different versions of a rich and creamy asparagus vichyssoise, prefect... read more

One of the best fish restaurants in Stockholm! Great and simple! You can even buy fish to take home.

The fish is very good, with a wide choice. We had Chanterelles to start and mains of Halibut and sole with too much sauce. However the service is very patchy and slow with seemingly no one in charge, sometimes four serving one table while others wait. It took a long time to take our order and a long time to... More

Service at Wedholm's Fisk is "correct". The sort of place where if you are an ill-bred colonial like me you are apt to use the wrong utensils. But the location and decor of the place fit with that, so I should not have been surprised. Food was top-rate. I had the herring with cucumber and dill to start and a... More

WE had a a very nice dinner in this comfortable restaurant. The sea food and fish are excellent. I especially enjoyed the Sole and there was an excellent wine list. Well worth a visit.

Good, but overrated. Formal and a little stuffy compared to other Stockholm restaurants. Service was fine but unenthusiastic. Fish was good, but honestly not any better than other restaurants that are less expensive.

we had a wonderful fish dinner( both appetizers and entrees ). Located in an upscale area which probably makes it a bit more expensive. Restaurant atmosphere is very comfortable and wait staff is very professional. Wine also on expensive side.

We had twice dinner in Stockholm at the end of july in this restaurant. Alas my partner has a small appetite and on each occasion I had to eat à la carte instead of taking the "degustation" menu which seems to offer a splendid quality/price ratio (at about 100 euros per person and five courses, one being a synthesis of... This restaurant is located in a great location with a view of the water. It is a high end restaurant that was not bad but not worth coming back. The fish we had the dover sole and the monk fish were very good but for the price of the evening I think we could of done better.
