Wedholms Fisk has been in its current location by Nybrokajen since 1985. Many of the staff, both amongst the pots and pans as well as amongst the tables, have been there since the doors were first thrown open to the first expectant guests. However, this does mean that time has stood still - the kitchen gleams with newly installed top of the range equipment and an inspiration to keep abreast of developments in food and cuisine.

This was possibly the best meal ever. Certainly it was the best fish meal, and my wife agrees, that we ever had. She had turbot and I had Dover sole for the main course. We had cured salmon for starters. On top of all that the service was perfect.

This restaurant is located in a great location with a view of the water. It is a high end restaurant that was not bad but not worth coming back. The fish we had the dover sole and the monk fish were very good but for the price of the evening I think we could of done better.

Been here before and went back as I saw it as a safe bet after my last visit. Compared to last time, where all dishes were solid classics served the classical way, it seemed like a new chef has entered the kitchen trying to give some of the dishes a bit of a modern twist. A matter of taste what... More

Second time we have been to this restaurant and it's still very good. Brought our 17 and 18 year olds with us on this trip and they too appreciated the food and the ambiance of this airy, lovely old restaurant. We all thoroughly enjoyed our various fish dishes and even found room for their delicious deserts. Would visit yet again.... More

It's an national treasure ,well known for its fish. We took the tasting menu and wine packet , expensive but well worth it. Ask for a window table. 5 courses and wine allow about Sek3000.

I was a bit reluctant to go this restaurant as I had read a negative review on tripadvisor that it was so expensive and it was only visited by tourists, but I had a look at their website and menu before I booked with them. And indeed they are not cheap but they are not that expensive either. One of... More

The fish is excellent quality but is marred by overpowering sauces. Too bad. The scallops were smothered in a sauce that masked the taste of the scallops. Likewise with the shrimp, which épée re only average size.
