Very Good Food, amazing service

We were recommended for the famous Swedish meatballs. We arrived after our daughter was sting by a bee. The restaurant manager took her to wash her hand, the chief waiter send an assistant to buy a soothing cream to the close by pharmacy. Food was good. There were four dining and although the food and wine was of an acceptable standard, please note it was far from memorable, the standard of service from the waiter was poor. The table had to be physically moved about 4 feet so that we could get to our seats, and also the people dining at the table next to ours.... More

Kat and I had the classic Swedish meatballs and they were wonderful. One of the few restaurants with actual tablecloths and nice table settings. I left a camera there and they carefully saved it for my return. Honest folks. We sat next to folks and they, too, had great meals. Join me at ljmartin dot com for lots more reviews... More

We made reservations as we had a party of 17, and they seated us immediately when we arrived. Our 1 server for all of us was excellent! She handled all of us with ease and patience! But the best part: the food! The Swedish meatballs are the absolute best around! Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the service and speed of... More

The food in this restaurant was quite good. It is also pricey, and the service was pretty bad. We were waiting so long to be seated we also left. And just as we were about to they seated us. Also, it took a while until they took our order, but once they did, the food came pretty quickly. Also, they... More

This place was recommended to us by locals and was well worth seeking out. The meatballs were delicious - the best of many restaurants we tried. The minced veal was recommended and, maybe it's just personal taste, but I didn't understand the appeal. The execution was as expected and well done. The vibe of the bistro is upscale casual with... Really nice place and good selection of Swedish dishes. The herring and meatballs are the popular dishes and they are very good. Lovely environment and good service even when packed, which it is! Not too expensive and worth it for typical Swedish fare and service. Decent wine list with all the usual offerings although like everything in Scandanavia high on... More

The food is very Swedish. The decor is really interesting. Drawings and photos of food and people. We ordered lobster soup and salad as well as Meatballs. The food was really good. We around lunchtime. No problems with getting a seat. Our waitress was also very nice.

A very busy restaurant with wonderful Swedish dishes and great service! Our Swedish friend who lives in Stockholm and the hotel we stayed at recommended this restaurant! Would definitely visit again, if we do return to Stockholm.

We were told this place was good so got the tube to it on the 29th July in the evening to try it. We were given a table at the entrance, menus handed out then left like lemons for 25 minutes while the man in the suit fawned over 2 young girls & played with their dog. After playing with... More
