Nice restaurant for a good meal the decor make you feel comfy it has not changed for a long time. Food is great and it seems as the place is always booked out so reserve a table in advance.

Super authentic Swedish cuisine right in the middle of downtown. Had the traditional Swedish meatballs with some wine and completely relished it!

It was quite a disappointment. I had asked a local friend on where to get traditional swedish food and he recommended Prinsen. Decor looked good, the guy taking the coats was pleasant. Those were the only good things. Food was nothing special - quite bland actually. We had tuna starter and lobster ravioli starter and 2 different fish dishes for... More

Everything is first class at this restaurant. All waiters and waitresses are very professionals. Service is perfect-10 points! We had lunch at this restaurant and ordered Salmon fish, Entrecote and Swedish meatball. Salmon fish and entrecote were delicious. Swedish meatball was not tasty. Green salad was also good, not ordinary... I would like to remind that here is first class... More

Prinsen was a great dining experience. The service was exceptional and very attentive. Quite a pleasant surprise and well done to the waiter. The food was also very tasty. I had the herring plate for an appetiser which came with 5 different types of pickled herring. For a main I took the Ox cheek which was very good. The food... More

When one is urging for first class traditional Swedish food then there is probably no better place to go to. It does not matter if we're talking fish or mest, they hard to beat in both. Try their Biff Rydberg and enjoy a mouthful sensation of sensations!

Smart restaurant. I went with a couple of Swedish colleagues and left selection to them. We had some great local beer. The starter was a selection of herring in different marinades, spuds etc - very nice The main was a local speciality which was a bread crumbed veal burger with mash. Creme brûlée for pudding Very Swedish, very nice

Delicious food, the best service in city. Great wines, season foods like asparagus. It is always wise to book some days beforehand because the place is so popular. Prices are not very low indeed :)

Today I felt the urge to revisit Prinsen, which has been one of my trusted restaurants for many years. It did not disappoint. In short, it’s a French bistro serving delicious, well executed Swedish classics. We had herring, duck and wallenbergare (minced veal) and I can honestly say I would have trouble choosing a dish again because they were all... More

Stockholm can be expensive for everything and good food is no exception. But if you don't mind splurging a little, this place has great atmosphere and terrific staff. Lovely meatballs, and the local seafood-mayo mix-on-toast specialty was good. We had booked and ate downstairs but the people watching from the street tables would have been good too.

Thank Tony P
