Great Swedish food, wine selection and service. I have been living in Sweden for 3 years and this is one of the best restaurants I have been to!!

Was a little hesitant to go here as the hotel recommended it and didn't know if there was a kickback. When we got to this lovely restaurant I could see if was full of locals. Lovely setting, great food and service.

Really poor service -- our waiter ignored us (and several other tables) while he and several others took care of a large table. We understood that he was busy so we were very patient. However, he never even checked in -- we wanted more water, wine and dessert but gave up and finally tracked him down for the bill. The... More

Prinsen is one of the grand addresses of Stockholm and has done an excellent job of staying relevant with the recent wave of "new nordic cooking". It is a good point of reference, as many of the classic dishes are not done corretly elsewhere anymore. At Prinsen, after one bite both regulars and visitors are remembered how light most nordic... Deliscious food, good service and nice location. Really in the center of Stockholm and definitley worth a visit. I had reindeer filet which was excellent. You should also try the local swedish beer

Usual very good standard here. Set the bar for other restaurants in Sweden, even if we only had Dagens Ratt.

Prinsen is one of Stockholm's oldest dining establishment. We had reservations to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. We were greeted by the manager when we arrived, who was very friendly and thanked us for celebrating her special day with them. We were give a very nice outside table. Also, we were given a complementary glasses of Champaign along with a... More

Like the restaurant which I have tried at several visits to Stockholm. very good Swedish specialities. The waiter was not really selling those things all too well but anyway very good. I had the Lojrom which is a Scandinavian speciality. Very nice to try if you want to try something different.

Its probably a good idea to book ahead if you want to eat inside, though there is moderately plentiful seating outside (with small heaters). The meatballs come with the creamiest, smoothest mash and are extremely delicious. The calf liver is also very rich and tasty. The apple pie was not quite what we expected (and was a bit small) but... More
