We tend to avoid touristic dining spots but were sort of intrigued by the Tripadvisor reviews of Aifur Krog, and so took a chance. We enjoyed ourselves. On arrival you a greeted by this big, effusive guy, who, with a yell, announces your arrival to the room, by name and along with your country of origin (Vinland, in our case).... More

We went with 2 friends. The friendly host made room for us and we sat along the communal benches. I'm aware that eating out in Stockholm is eye wateringly expensive and this place was no exception. Even with expected high prices, we felt that the portions were pretty small. The youngsters next to us had to read the menu carefully... More

I can not recommend this place highly enough. Food and service was out of this world. I'd certainly be going back next time I'm in Stockholm. The menu had something for every taste. My only criticism would be the price but everywhere in Sweden was the same

This place is fun. Everything about it, from the alcoholic beverages, to the food, to the cutlery, to the music being played, to the plates and glasses, is Viking inspired. It's pretty cool. It feels like you've transcended into a Viking world when you go there. The food is pretty decent too. Also, it's a great place to socialise with... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant and it was by far our favorite in Stockholm. Everything about it was great, the food, the service, the music the atmosphere. What a great find!

They had a great viking atmosphere, right down to the different cutlery. Amazing live music with instruments that I had never seen before from the viking days. The atmosphere was worth the price alone, and the staff dressed in the traditional outfits were great. The staff was all friendly, and they even did something for my fiance's birthday. It is... More

We loved this bar so much, we kept going back. On weekends there's a live band, bagpipe music et al. The whole viking experience is fantastic. From utensils used to the costumes of staff. Last order on weekdays is 1030 pm. Closes at 11pm. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

I was in Stockholm on a work trip and had been told by a colleague of a "Viking restaurant somewhere in the city" (he was too drunk to remember!) We were out walking around and stumbled across Aifur, there could only be one so in we went! They managed to squeeze us in by making some other diners move up... More

We were here on Saturday night, the Viking bar was buzzing with people and atmosphere. The staff (dressed in Viking attire!) were very friendly, good fun and helpful. We even have photos with some of the modern day 'Vikings'. The bar itself has Viking-style decor and atmospheric candle light. I particularly loved the Viking folk band playing, I felt that... More
