Very good meatballs

When in Sweden you should try meatballs. These were very good meatballs with a fine mash potato. The restaurant boasts a basement bar, an outdoor veranda and a cafe-style interior. Look for the chestnut tree outside to locate the venue.

We had Swedish meatballs and Salmon dinners. The Swedish meatballs were very good, but I found the salmon a surprise with each bite. The fish was cooked perfectly, no small thing, but the sauce and the other components of the meal each were wonderful. There was a great dill sauce for the fish. The side dish included pickled Napa cabbage--with... More

Very warm welcoming, nice ambiance, simple but very good food, very sympathetic waiter, a mix of people (tourists, locals, young, less young, couples, families, etc)... A very nice moment in that very nice city!!

Nice restaurant that offer traditional menu for student and tourist. The food was good, and the place very nice. Go if you need to take lunch into the old town.

An amazing chestnut three is a magnificent introduction to this restaurant. Despite this fact, unfortunately, we found a common and poor food offer, prepared in a very easy and quick way (also a burger Mc style in the menu). Somehow we have been also unlucky getting the table just outside the bathroom, with direct view inside it. Price wise a... More

Ate here twice during our week long stay in Stockholm. I tried the Salmon and potatoes which was delicious and a burger and chips which was equally tasty. good service from the down to earth staff- who were friendly and efficient. There's a cozy homely ambience. In this bistro- very well done (and a good house white!) 5 stars

As we were six persons, it was quite difficult to find a restaurant with enough space. Luckily we got a table in this very nice location. The waiters were very nice and served us very well. While we were waiting for the main dishes we got some very nice bread with butter. The food, in my case a perfectly prepared... More

I stumbled across the bright orange front of this restaurant whilst wandering around the old town. I ordered the Swedish potato pancakes and they were truly moorish! Unfortunately as it was my last night in the city I didn't really have the funds left to indulge in more courses - otherwise I definitely would have! The waitress was attentive, with... More

It is nicely located - a bit away from the tourist path. Many locals have coffe/ desert which is always a good sign. We had lunch - not big choice , but the food was freshly cooked and tasty. Also they had kids menu. As often in Stockholm- bread, water, tea, coffee goes free to the lunch. Nice place for the... More
