Classic Stockholm coffee House and bakery

This place goes back a long way as a coffee house in Stockholm. As you walk in, you are welcomed by the scent of fresh bread and pastries, add to that, fresh coffee and you will think you are in heaven. Check out the back rooms and hallways as well as the back counter if it's busy up front. Try... read more

I've tried a lot of their pastries and they are pretty good. One of my favorites is the trio with three layers of chocolate.

Vete-Katten has a bit of history in Stockholm, and continues to be a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The service is quick and friendly, and the pastries speak for themselves. They have a variety of sandwiches to eat in, and some breads for take-away. Over a few days we sampled quite a few lattes and baked goods, all satisfying... More

Went with a friend and had such a good time! The food and especially their big sortiment of different teas are exquisite, and it's 'the' place to visit if you want the ultimate authentic Swedish Fika vibe. The price is as expected since it's in the city center, and the staff is very friendly. Keep in mind that this cafe... More

I came to this cafe for a morning fika. The chocolate budapest roll with raspberry and cream filling was very delicious. I would come here again.

It seems rather posh but the price is actually not too bad. Semla is the famous one but I honestly found it average (tasted like bread and cream) The huge pistachio bread goes really well with coffee (7 euros but very filling)

This place is large, with 50's-like interior, amazing pastry and cakes and delicious coffee. It seems very busy and is visited. We tried cinnamon buns and chocolate croissants with coffee. Regular coffee is free. Favorite place in Stockholm and great memories!

Every year festivities are planned around the world to celebrate the end of the fast. Some places have a huge feast, others like New Orleans have a signature party that almost define the city. Sweden have a couple of things but the fettisdagsbulle (fat Tuesday bun, or Mardi Gras bun) has to be the one thing that defines the Swedish... More

This was our first stop in Stockholm for lunch (we had amazing grilled cheese sandwiches), we also had cake and coffee. The sandwiches were absolutely fab, bread was wonderful and the cakes were so fresh. My coffee didn't arrive to the table so I had to go up and get it from the counter. Staff were lovely though and offered... More
