Traveling as a vegetarian or vegan is not easy, but a restaurant like Hermitage is an oasis of delicious food. Hermitage is small and the options on the buffet change daily, but everything we tried was great. The desserts were also beautiful and tasty.

Hermitage provides you with a rich vegetarian buffet at a reasonable price (120 sek, all you can eat).

Placed in Gamla Stan. Only buffet avaiable, with cold sallads and a heating cupboard with warm food. That day the biggest falaffels I've seen, tasty, spiced potatoes, a stew, sauce... Yummi! Tasty and warm. The buffet costs 110 SEK untill 3pm, and then it is 120 SEK for the rest of the day. All vegetarian/vegan. Really worth a trip to... More

I was delighted to find this little restaurant in the old town - Gamla Stan. The buffet is very reasonable at 120 sek. Falafel, pin wheels, soup, bean casserole, salads, bread. All were delicious.

It wasn't accident that we were there - I googled before visiting Stockholm a good but reasonable place to eat that would be on our way. And one important factor was also that my non-meat-eater sister could have a great lunch. And I found this place - perfect in every way! I do agree that the food there was somewhat... More

Like many of the reviewers on here, we found Hermitage (at my joy) by accident whilst walking around Gamla Stan. On approaching the counter and explaining that we only spoke English the lovely gentleman serving us explained that it was a self service buffet for 120 kr in his best English. The buffet was truly excellent with a great variety... More

The food was mostly good, but too much cilantro in every dish and not a lot of options if you don't like very spicy food. It is reasonably priced, especially if you're a big eater (120SEK and you get everything you want from the self-service area).

I found Hermitage by accident strolling around Gamla Stan. At first didn't seem appealing vegetarian to me. But I decided to give it a try. I was surprised how much I liked the food. Ant it was healthy too! Also the price is affordable considering that Stockholm is very expensive. I spent 11 days in Stockholm and eating at the... More

I do not know why this bar has such good rewiews. Most of the food was too spicy. No other option than self service for 120 kr.

We went to this place for dinner with my vegetarian girlfriend. The attending waiter could not be more rude. Asking about the menu, the guy chose to ignore most of our questions, as well as about the seating (all of the tables had the "reserved" sign on them, but were not reserved). In fact, the guy was the rudest waiter... More
