Amazing cake!

Sadly I didn't get a chance to actually sit-in at this cafe, but I bought a piece of cake to take back to the hotel with me - and it was one of the nicest cakes I have ever had! It was a slice of sponge, with jam and cream and green icing. I saw this cake in a few... read more

We stopped at this bakery for a cup of tea since it was heavy raining. Interior design is exeggerated french style which makes you feel really uncomfortable. Staff is rude . It was a disaponting experience for us.

Sundbergs konditori is a really old place - from 1785 - and has kept the old interior. It is as also the snacks, the delicate conditors tasty cakes and temptations have an air of the sophsticated old and charming place. As the Old City of Stockholm almost always are crowded with visitors from all over the world, it is also... More

Lovely spot to stop and sit with friends and relax for Fika. Loved the old atmosphere, but it didn't feel like a museum or exhibit. Tea was lovely, and cookies were good as well. Bit on the pricey side, but totally expected for the area.

Had a nice coffee and the classic Prinsesstårta. I have been here before and I will come back next time I am in town.

We sat here in the sun and feasted on apple strudel with vanilla creme and danish pastries with good coffee. The strudel is unmissable and tastes as good as it looks. The tables are a bit close together but the food is excellent and you are in the centre of everything.

I had a very tasty salmon bagel. Food was prepared quickly and well, and the price was reasonable given the very central and touristy location. Unfortunately service did not include a smile and my friend and I were made to feel rather rushed even though there were vacant tables.

Probably the oldest patisserie in Stockholm, Gamla Stan. Very small inside! Lots of tables outside. Got the toughest cream cake I've ever tried, the fork simply could not cut through it. The cream was good and the 'vanillecreme' marvellous (must have been mixed with whipped cream). My partner got another type of cream cake, but this too was impossible to... More

Gamla Stan is infested with tourists, so don't expect miracles there. Anything with a high TA rating is permanently overwhelmed - there was some space here though. I had apple strudel and custard with filter coffee for a decent price. The place is clean and tidy, but the decor is all a bit retro and doesn't really gel
