Five Small Houses you will find in the heart of Old Town, just off St. George and the Dragon. You are welcomed into a superb restaurant, which is made up of nine beautiful arches. These extend over five house, hence the name of the restaurant. There is also a modern conference room and lounges that are often used as function rooms On the menu you can always find dishes like herring, cured salmon, fillet of reindeer and a cloudberry dessert. Our parade course fillet´t of veal Anna Lindberg, it is served with morel sauce and potato gratin. It is also possible to organize wine tastings as related to conferences or as completely separate events.

booked this restaurant after reading tripadvisor reviews. it was amazing, I asked for my steak to be well done and the server just looked at me.when my steak came it was well done on the outside and raw in the middle so it was returned and re cooked, after which it was delicious. My son has allergies and his food... More

Nicely tucked in the old part of town this little marvel is the homelike harbor for he weary traveller (business this time). Went there with two friends and enjoyed the simple yet delightful Swedish food. Herring for starter and reindeer for the main cours. Mouth watering, will return for sure

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we attempted a walk in later one evening. They were fully but accommodated us in the lounge area off the bar. Beautiful quiet part of old town, a great walk from the Sheraton. Great outdoor seating and also while visiting the washroom had to go down stairs into the dining rooms. Although a confusing... Booked here for an authentic Swedish restaurant experience following the reviews seen and wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent, as was the service and the atmosphere. We had a gluten and a nut allergy in our party of three (only one of which had been pre-advised) and they dealt with it seamlessly. Even without that I would still be leaving... More

We popped in here for lunch on a rainy weekday and there was no one else there. The restaurant has many rooms but the front room has lovely leather armchairs and bookshelves so we sat there. It was our last meal in Sweden so we both had meatballs, which were the best ones we ate in Stockholm: light and flavourful,... More

This restaurant has been around for many years and is very well known. Thought we would be going into a "tourist trap" but pleasantly suprised by great classic Swedish dishes served elegantly and delicious. It comprises small rooms so quite intimate so chatted with others nearby who recommended various dishes. Paid SEK1160 for 2 courses plus one shared (and yummy)... More

We were very happy with our visit to this place. The waiters were very friendly and service was excellent and the food brilliant! The place was also very cozy and nicely decorated making the complete experience and atmosphere into a most pleasant one. Can highly recommend it to anybody who's looking for memorable dinner in Gamla Stan.

Made an 8pm reservation and arrived on time, to be told by the street side seating waitress the restaurant is downstairs. We went down one flight and were warmly greeted at the maitre d' station and taken down further flight of stairs, past 3 small and fully occupied dining rooms into a totally cute, brick arched roof cellar dining room...
