This restaurant is really excellent. I went there with my wife and daughters. The 4 of us were served an high level meal : reindeer, veal, lamb or fish. The place is quiet and even it is not that cheap, you will not regret your experience. And I guess in terms of Gastronomie you can trust a French man.

Amazing 3 course dinner, with ajoining wine. Food was excellent and the waiter was very kind. A lot of children ran around there when we were visiting, wich was a bit disturbing.

We booked for a special occasion and they did not disappoint. We stated it was a birthday via our online booking and were shown to a private romantic table between the other larger dining areas. Choice of food was excellent, service was prompt but not overbearing. The eating areas are in the cellars of five interconnected old houses, but the... More

We had a birthday celebration dinner here and our expectations were high and were well met. The food was delicious. We had the fixed menus, the 'Meny Gamlastan' and 'Meny Anna Lindberg' and both were superb. The Reindeer was delicious as were the Roe and the Veal and the accompaniments well suited to the food. We also took the Wine... More

To be honest, I went to this restaurant based on the ratings in Trip Advisor, so I am only confirming the many previous opinions about this great restaurant. The restaurant is in a very old building(s) and most of the seating in what looks like the basement of old coal storage facilities. The decore is very well done but you... More

There is simply something about cold water and fish! These people really know how not only prepare delicious dishes but the presentation is fantastic. It looks so good you do not want to mess it up!

Not cheap but certainly one of the best places to eat in Stockholm. Very convenient placed behind our hotel First Hotel Reisen. It really is made up of the cellars of five old houses and has been there for a VERY long time. Go!

The restaurant is very charming, even has Arm Chair outside of the place. We love the basement decor, small rooms and candle lights. Our dishes include rootbeets, salad, Cod fish with mussel, rain deer, and the desert is to die for. Everything was well session however let the the main ingendien shine on it's own flaver

Over five days, this was the best restaurant we encountered. Created in the basements of five adjoining small historic houses, it exudes history and culture, with five dining rooms made of bricks (some dating to the 1600s) connected on 2-3 different levels through curving arches. The food was exceptional: veal with morel sauce and potato au gratin, marinated salmon, thin... More
