Five Small Houses you will find in the heart of Old Town, just off St. George and the Dragon. You are welcomed into a superb restaurant, which is made up of nine beautiful arches. These extend over five house, hence the name of the restaurant. There is also a modern conference room and lounges that are often used as function rooms On the menu you can always find dishes like herring, cured salmon, fillet of reindeer and a cloudberry dessert. Our parade course fillet´t of veal Anna Lindberg, it is served with morel sauce and potato gratin. It is also possible to organize wine tastings as related to conferences or as completely separate events.

I could not ask for more.

Me and my girlfriend had a nice romantic experience here. The restaurant was cozy and had an old romantic feel to it. We had our food perfectly cooked, the wine was splendid and service was great. Recommend this restaurant if you are a couple looking for an excellent meal in romantic location.

My husband and I first visited this restaurant in the evening 6 years ago as a secret birthday treat. Although I cannot officially review that visit due to the length of time past I will say it was excellent in every way. We were now back in Stockholm and wanted to visit again - this time for lunch as our... More

just a perfect evening for first night in stockholm. The Elk carpaccio was out of this world, as was the halibut. My friend had the perch with chanterelles which was also cooked to perfection. Wait staff friendly and very helpful to two jet lagged travelers.

We made a reservation and we're anticipating a wonderful time missed on the recommendation by a friend. The restaurant is far larger than it appears, with a labyrinthine series of rooms that seemingly go on forever. Once we settled into a cozy spot we were offered a succulent array of local fare that was a perfect introduction to Swedish tradition.... More

Cosy place. Great service. Tasty food in well sized portions. Both reindeer filet and beef were excellent. Choice of local lager beer was perfect option. Vanilla ice cream with warm cloudberries to share, super. Recommended.

We went to Fem Små Hus as a couple on a Sunday evening in August, the restaurant was available any time we wanted when we booked earlier the same day, so availability should not be a problem in most cases I wouldn't have thought. It was tourist season, and this restaurant is right in Gamla Stan, so there were a... More

Far from the main pedestrian tourist street, don't miss to visit the adjacent small streets. This place is a famous place for dinner, known for serving Swedish specialities. First time I tried the place for lunch. We could sit outside. This area of old town is quiet, no car, few shops and nice environment. Very professional service. Good food with... More

Five Small Houses is always wonderful. Our family ate last there last night (Saturday, August 15, 2015.) Try to get in the main room where Peter always takes good care of you!
