Description: The square in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town, where Rodolfino is situated, has seen a number of changes down the years. Once upon a time, this was one of Stockholm's major meeting places. This is where Carl Christoffer Gjörwell (1731-1781) had his bookshop and it was full of coffee houses and restaurants. There was a boisterous street life and the square was the scene of many historic events. These days, life on the square is considerably quieter, which suits Rodolfino perfectly, since the restaurant aims to offer guests a relaxing experience. The kitchen prepares Italian food, with a range of pasta, meat and fish dishes, as well as a number of examples of Sweden's home cooking tradition.

One of our pasta dishes, with salzizia, was very tasty but the other (5 fromages) was disappointing.

As a veggie I struggled to find a decent meal in Stockholm but was lucky to stumble across this restaurant. The lady who runs it is so lovely in fact all the staff were. The pasta and desert were very tasty. It was very busy and the service a little slow but the atmosphere is nice it didn't matter. We... More

Nice place in gamla stan, very easy to find. They have their menu in multiple languages (Swedish, English, German, French, Finnish, Russian, Spanish and Italian). Waiters also speak multiple languages. The service was very fast, and the pizza was very tasty and not too expensive (between 120 and 150 SEK).

Hopped off the cruise ship this morning and did a few miles around the city of Stockholm where I was fortunate enough to find Rodolfino Ristorante. I had the Linguine of the Sea which was pasta with shrimp, mussels, clams, Octopus and other jewels of the ocean. My wife had a pizza Capricciosa which had ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, mozzarella, etc.... More

Good Italian food in Old Town without touristy feel. Pasta, mussels & cannelloni were excellent. Service was stressed at times, but that just added to the Italian feel! Manager/owner keeps things hopping in a friendly way. Sidewalk dining in good weather a plus. We enjoyed our visit.

This restaurant is not fancy, but it serves excellent food. I had garlic bread and pizza and both were delicious. Service was efficient and staff spoke good English. This restuarant is slightly off the Gamla Stan touristy area and so was a bit cheaper than others we'd looked at. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for good Italian food.

On a recent short break to Stockholm our friends took us to Rodolfino. They had been before as they live outside Stockholm and when we suggested Italian this was their recommendation! An "excellent" suggestion too! I had the Pasta al filetto which was excellent (around 185kr, I think) and my wife the Pasta of the house. Both were excellent, the... More

The service at this restaurant was good, but the food was the worst we had during a two week trip to Stockholm. I had the Hawaii pizza and my husband had the tortellini alla panna. Neither of us were fond of our food.

Although expensive, you won't find anything much cheaper or of better quality in Gamla Stan, our waiter was attentive and super friendly, whilst the Pizza was authentic Italian! Tiramisu as advertised fantastic!
