Description: The square in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town, where Rodolfino is...
The square in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town, where Rodolfino is situated, has seen a number of changes down the years. Once upon a time, this was one of Stockholm's major meeting places. This is where Carl Christoffer Gjörwell (1731-1781) had his bookshop and it was full of coffee houses and restaurants. There was a boisterous street life and the square was the scene of many historic events. These days, life on the square is considerably quieter, which suits Rodolfino perfectly, since the restaurant aims to offer guests a relaxing experience. The kitchen prepares Italian food, with a range of pasta, meat and fish dishes, as well as a number of examples of Sweden's home cooking tradition.

Fantastic food and friendly service

The food is wonderful and the service friendly. When it gets busy the staff can be rushed off their feet which can make it difficult to get their attention, but otherwise it was great.

Popped in after a trip around the old town. Friendly waiting staff who speak great English. The menu is available in most major European languages. Two pizzas and two beers, quick service, very good quality.

We went here after being unable to book typical Swedish Cuisine due to last minute booking. We were very pleased with our choice. Friendly service good food, served by real Italians in the Old Town of Stockholm. A very pleasant surprise with cozy ambiance to boot. You can't go wrong here. The pizzas were delicious and the tiramisu some of... More

I am not a fan of food in Sweden, so when I visit Stockholm I seek out Italian restaurants. This is a lovely family run place. The food is delicious and fresh. They have gluten free pasta which is a plus for me. The restaurant isn't fancy, but offers an extensive menu that includes pizza. Service is prompt and friendly.... More

A good family meal, slightly expensive but didn't walk out hungry. Warm, friendly and in the centre of Stockholm. Good coffee also.

Where you least would expect it, in the Old Town of Stockholm you will find one of the most genuine Italian food. The restaurant have been managed for generations by an Italian family based in Stockholm. You will not be disappointed;)

A nice little restaurant for a family looking for both children's meals and gluten free meals. The wait staff were very engaging and seemed to speak many languages. The food was good but the wine prices were a bit hefty.

We visited Rodolfino on a cold winter night. Welcoming and service were perfect. Even though we were a party of 14, ordering various types of plates (pizza, meat, fish, pasta), we were all served together and in a timely manner. Food was perfect, all served with an Italian accent, a smile and a few jokes. All in all, an authentic... More

This place is so cozy and decent. I liked everything. The service, food, decorations, menu, drinks. The new years dinner was ok. Not the best, but not the worst.

On our last day in Stockholm, we chose to have lunch in this small restaurant only a short distance from our hotel. We were greeted enthusiastically by a very witty and affable waiter, talked (not difficult) into a couple of glasses of excellent rose, and chose a simple meal of minestrone soup, that was delicious, and much lighter than usual....
