We had lunch at Lisa's in Saluhall after wandering around looking at all the lovely foods on offer! We settled on prawns and a glass of wine this time, having recently sampled the local meatballs and mash on a couple of occasions, which went down very well! I can also recommend the amazing cheese plates which are perfect for a... More

We had lunch at Tysta Mari (shrimp sandwich, fish soup...) - excellent quality, great value for money, fantastic bread served with the dishes, nice welcome! Enjoy!

classic little indoor food market, to be honest though there is a very similar one in sodermalm in an even smaller scale so its not as unique as one would expect. Really clean, not too crowded, food beautifully displayed but we especially walked out there to see it and it wasn't worth the special journey. A lot of the vendors... More

This delightful place is a Must Visit on everyone's list. Although Swedish museums are the BEST and its hard to find time from sightseeing I suggest you pay this place a visit for lunch. To start with, a lot of delis and restaurants have opened food bars here. So getting a table is easier. Lisa Emqvist is the No.1 choice... More

We love food markets like this. It's a very interesting place to look around. There's all sorts of produce, from meat, through vegetables, onto many cheeses. You can eat and drink here too, we stopped for a cold beer, sat at the stall and watched the world go by. It's great to see people shopping in places like this.

A gigantic deli with amazing fresh seafood and little 'food bars' where you can sit down for a meal. There's a middle eastern counter, a meat counter, a seafood section, fresh veg and a cafe. A must is the espresso from the cafe on the right as you enter the market. Also try the Skagen from Tysta Mari just two... More

If you love food you enjoy this. Even locals come in and have their lunches there. They have counters where you can easily grab a bite. A great first stop in Stockholm.

A visit to Östermalmshallarna is like traveling back in time but with better hygiene. Classic Swedish food for take away or to sit there and enjoy and why not some moose meet for those back home as a souvenir? Or why not just have a look? A must in Stockholm!

If you love to eat and appreciate food, this place is a must. Though the prices certainly aren't low, they're cheaper than the restaurant prices if you have your own kitchen to cook in. Beautiful building, wide variety of fresh meats, fish, produce, treats, etc. Wish we had one of these in the States.

A must visit for foodies in Stockholm,a bit overpriced though. Excellent food service and ambience. Recomended if money is not an issue.
