Honestly, I love this place. LOVE IT! I am from Stockholm and I live fairly close but this is a place which I will never get tired of. You have a really good selection of food which is served by people with great knowledge. This is like a indoor food market. You have a few "saluhall"ar around Stockholms city centre... More

The minute you walk through the door of Saluhall at Ostermalm, you are assaulted with a variety of delicious sights and aromas. The food from the different vendors (meat, fish, etc.) is fresh and of the highest quality. At the rear of the hall, you can choose from a variety of lunchtime takeaway snacks, or sit down for a meal... More

You can just walk around here, and feel the stories in the walls. This is the old food hall and food court of Stockholm. You don't have to eat, but if you do my favorites are Lisa and Gerdas fish restaurants, which I have visited since I was a small child.

This is by far be best, cleanest and most attractive market I have seen. The restaurants have access incredibly fresh fish, which is often prepared in a traditionally simple way.

Fantastic atmosphere! Fantastic food hall in an old building. I had lunch at Lisa Elmqvist fish restaurant.

The food here was exceptionally fresh and good quality, which meant it cost a bit more than some places. That said, simpler dishes at some stalls weren't too bad- like goulash, fish stew and so on. It's well worth a visit and there's plenty to choose from with lots of fresh food from Sweden and around the world.

This enclosed market w restaurants is in Stockholm's 'high rent' district. Regular shoppers there expect quality and plan to pay extra for it. Walking through is a treat, especially visiting the seafood and wild game vendors. Food from staples to lunches are super. A must see.

Every city in the world has its "must see" food market which is where the Ostermalms Saluhall comes in for Stockholm. And it is impressive - it should be on the "things to do list" for any Stockholm visit and when we went in the early evening (warning - places close at 7pm on a Friday night!), there was a... More

This is a must do for breakfast in Stockholm. Wether you are coming off the boat or have enjoyed a lazy morning at your hotel, this is the place to have a nice breakfast with fish, prawns, meat... you name it. Also a great place to pick fish, meat, cheeses and bread for home.

This was a great find while walking around Stockholm. It is more of a food market with many local vendors, however you are able to eat at mini restaurants inside. The food is relatively expensive (as are most things in Scandinavia), however it was definitely worth the cost as the Swedish meatball dish I had was excellent! I would recommend... More
