We strolled into this quirky cafe during our exploration of the city and were pleasantly surprised. There wasn't an English version of the menu but the man who assisted us was very cheery and helpful in giving us a translation of the items and what the favorites were. We felt welcome and sat down to enjoy our quickly prepared lunch.... More

I normally visit Vurma Hornstull. I love everything in this place: food, staff, variety of desserts, atmosphere. Even the toilet is an experience per se. I have now tried few different dishes and cakes and all taste soooooo good! Perfect place to hang out with friends anytime of the week.

Vurma is one of the best cafes in Stockholm, it has it all. Great view, great coffe, great food and a fantastic enviroment. The best time to come here us 9-11 am and 2-7 pm. During lunchtime its too crowded. The soyalatte is perfect and also the kaemummabulle, or cardamonroll.Sit outside its the best view.

Café Vurma has 4 locations in Stockholm, my favorite being the one in Hornstull (Bergsunds Strand 31). The place is quirky and charming and offers yummy sandwiches, brunch and daily specials. It is the perfect place to lounge around on a Sunday (although, it does get quite busy) -or to sit and read/study on weekdays.

This is a great café with good coffee and great food. The decor is a bit bohemish, and the service could be better from some staff. It is obviously a concept that works since they have a number of other cafés in Stockholm. Food: The food is great, with a large variety of sandwiches (cold and grilled) and salads. Coffee:... More

Nice place with a pleasant gaggle of tables outside filled with coolly dressed diners. I ate maybe the best burger ever there that was topped with goat cheese and my wife had a healthy salad. Prices seemed quite affordable too.

Vurma is an excellent cafe. Most diners eat the safe courses, try the unique ones. The pork was best I have ever had. Excellent beers, good drinks.

As I go to school about five minutes from Vurma, I hang out here a lot - and it's so worth it. The café itself is a bit small, but very cosy what with all the colourful cushions and furniture. The atmosphere is great, with good music and pictures of Sophia Loren-like pinups which add to the kind of 50's... More
