Good food, good price

The restaurant has a canteen feeling. You have to get your food at the counter and eat at a long table. We liked it! The food is very good, with free water and bread. Staff is helpfull. We eat there twice, recommend! It's cheaper then you expect in Stockholm.

Betwwen Abba Museum and Skansen, if you want to visit both and eat quickly then it is the right place. You take your plate pay and try to find a place. I say try because we went there on Sunday and many local people are coming and some time inside are reserved. Then if weather ok, you can enjoy your... More

Went here for lunch after a visit to the ABBA museum. Nice salads and variants of Swedish "humans kost" on the menu. We had salads and the soup of the day. . Nice and friendly personnel served food in a timely fashion. Food was nice - an extra star for the soup - very nice.

Blå Porten is famous from several books, from writers' and artists' visits and also from tourists and locals visiting Djurgården especially during weekends. Some small and a long table, very simple decoration but cosy. When the climate and weather permit, you can also be seated outdoors between the restaurant and the Liljevalchs art museum. Some main courses, soup, salads and... More

Traditional restaurant with nice atmosphere, not too expensive but almost always too crowded. It is good that it is not allowed to take children´s pushchairs inside because the area is narrow and the people with children usually don´t think anybody else but thenselves.

Forgot to mention this in my ABBA review. Tourist travel on their bellies. And this is the place to travel to afterABBA. Go left and then the frozen man will lead the way. It is cafeteria style. Quick sandwich or plates of lamb meatballs or chicken stew or soups. All is great. Put your coats on your seats when you... More

Bla porten is slightly unusual because most people eat outside and it's sort of cafe style. Small menu, but great food and a good less formal option. We returned twice during a week in Stockholm. No official kids portion but they will do a smaller version of menu options if you ask. Highlights for us were meatballs and salmon!
