Having a day out in Stockholm we decided to 'drop in' at Långbro Värdshus. Despite not having booked we were received in a friendly manner and a table for two was quickly laid out, even though the restaurant was very busy. We had visited this place before and had been impressed by their brunch buffé and opted to go for... More

This place is all about quality when it comes to brunch. Nice settings, fantastic food with a wide range of items to select from. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff really nice. After a long brunch a stroll in the park is so nice. Try this you will like it. Another thing don't miss their small coffehop in another... More

This fabulous restaurant is in a converted old physicians mansion in the southern Stockholm suburb of Fruagen. The house itself is in a leafy park-like setting. The atmosphere is relaxed, the only men there in jackets and ties were attending a reception of some sort. The relaxed atmosphere, however, belies the fabulous food and service. The wait staff are helpful... More

Fabulous food, served in a converted house where we had our own room. Hot and cold buffet with the traditional fare. Much was gluten free so I was very well looked after. Save room for the dessert buffet!

Superb food. Chef Fredrik Eriksson gives a variety of swedish cuisine. The food was delicious and the staff very nice. The atmosphere in this restaurant feels genuine swedish, like the food. Highly recommendable.

We went to the summer terrace, the less fancy part of the restaurant opened only during the summer. The menu offers some BBQ dishes, and the side dish (potatoes, corn cobs etc.) is ordered separately. I ordered a cheeseburger which was good but very small. The potato wedges I took were a dwarfish portion, a couple of mini potatoes. I... More

Good food, excellent service. Perfect to celebrate but quite expensive. They also have nice brunch. And a knowledge of intolerants such as celiakia.

This is THE place to eat traditional swedish christmas buffét. The diversity of herring, ham, sausages, patés, salmon, cheese etc is great. I have gone to Långbro five years in a row, and it keeps making me happy! Also great "mumma" (swedish mixture of porter, beer and soda) and home made schnaps. This is the best Christmas buffét in Stockholm!

Långbro värdshus is a restaurant within an old, now abandoned, hospital area. It can be reached from Stockholm city center within 20 minutes, but it's a bit tricky if you don't have a car and have to travel by train, subway or bus. The surroundings are lovely with a well maintained park and small lakes. In the summer there are... More
