Nice easygoing restaurant

Oljebar very nice easygoing restaurant at heart of the vasastan. Only problem I came across was that it was little too noisy and hard to hear what others did say.

Having dined at Oljebaren two times in the space of a week, it is safe for me to say that this place is a must!. They have a short, french-inspired menu (small plates in lieu of starters, 4 mains, 3 desserts), but what they do they do very well. Much has been written about the burger and all of it... More

This is the second best place in my opinion when it comes to burgers. Pricy but so worth the money. A nice and calm restaurant. A bit hipster but who cares?

A small, cozy family restaurant with high quality in both service and food with the hamburger as the flagship course (very probable to be the best in all of Sweden, quality meat and love ably greasy) served with thrice fried fries.

I had lunch here countless times. Always good food. The menu is a bit boring. Hamburger is overpriced. Otherwise good choice. Recommended.

This place was originally an Olive Oil Shop. The Oil Theme has been retained & the talented Chef creates wonderful food themed around different oils. The hamburger they do has apparently been voted as Stockholmes no 1 .. and we tasted it & wow , the best burger ever , served with hand cut chips , the bun & all... More

Read about Oljebaren at http://sthlmburgers.se/. Their hamburger was ranked at 4th. place at the time. The place is apparently popular, it was packed on a Tuesday. I got a place at the bar. Good looking bar with bar with friendly and helpful staff, and the place has a nice selection of beers. The menu looked exciting, but i came for the... More

Really nice atmosphere and their burgers were great! The other food was good but didn't really live up to the same standard. Service was good and staff was nice and friendly.

I must say I was let down by the high expectations from previous recommendations. The place is hot (must say it was a VERY hot day outside), there is smell from people smoking at the outside tables coming in (due to the big open windows) and the hamburgers were OK but not fantastic.

This little restaurant is great. Not pricey, and simple but great food. Good wine selection. Service is usually good.
