We went here with longtime Stockholm residents because they consider the atmosphere and food a good example of Swedish cuisine. The herring and the meatballs with mashed potatoes and lingonberries were delicious. The restaurant felt old-fashioned but comfortable and the service for our party of seven was bilingual and excellent.

this place has a pub area where you can drink - and eat. and a restaurant with white table cloths. the food is the same in both areas. it's a great place, because it is a little bit outside of the center, which means: mostly locals. you can eat traditionel swedish food, cooked and prepared with passion. if you go... My first visit and I can't wait to go back. Amazing food, good location, nice staff and a lot to chose from on the menu. Definitely a place to go back to. The food was amazing and the staff funny and friendly. My warmest recommendations!

There were 6 of us celebrating a friend's 60th birthday. We started with drinks in the bar and my first reaction to the prices was "91 SEK for a Samuel Adams, you've gotta be kidding !!!" That's ridiculously expensive. After that, we went to the restaurant (book a table, otherwise you won't get one). The various starters we ate included... More

This is one of the few remaining traditional Swedish restaurants in Stockholm. Here you can enjoy an ale or nice beer, or - recommended - a full dinner. We were 6 persons and everybody was very happy. The restaurant is fairly big, but the rooms are organized in a way you feel as in a smaller place. One of the... More

I left my hotel and on a whim turned away from the busy tourist area and eventually came upon this neighborhood gem. As I entered, I noticed a white table-clothed room to the right, and a spacious dark wood paneled pub to the left. I chose the latter and settled in with a local beer. The waitress, who was of... Fried herring with mashed potatoes and char with potatoes were very good. The service, however, left a bad taste in my mouth. Our waitress barely gave us the time of day as she doted on the table of four next to us, asking them if they needed more drinks, telling them to let her know if they wanted more fries,... More

We stayed here on our first night in Stockholm, and were able to get a table inside - probably because we were outside of the peak season. It was rather hot due to unusually high temperatures in the city that no-one is really set up to cope with. However, we found the service very pleasant and they were absolutely fine... More

The restuarant is nicely located, close to Odenplan subway station. The name of the restuarant implies an establishment with old traditions, which is verified by the interior. However, the decoration has no coherent theme, and the restaurant seems be a little run-down. The food is ok, but the price is too hefty considering the size of the portion and the... More

Passing by on my way from the city centre I stepped in to see if I could get a table, which I did and in the white table cloth section. The middle aged waitresses criticised by other reviewers were friendly and nice, and I soon got both menu, drinks and food. The Biff Rydberg with a schnapps was excellent (maybe... More
