Description: From market trader to purveyor to His Majesty the King.It all began in 1926. Fisherman’s daughter Lisa Elmqvist traded her wares at a street market by the waterfront, and customers quickly flocked to her stall. Her fish, shellfish and cookery skills were of such a high standard that she swiftly moved up to Östermalms Saluhall, built in 1888 – the perfect place to allow her ability to shine through. Today, more than 85 years later, the fourth generation of the Elmqvist family continues her work assiduously from the same stall, gaining more and more experience and ambitions. In the food hall the name of Lisa Elmqvist represents a fish stall and restaurant with a unique know-how and an inherited sense of the delicacies of the sea. Here you can shop for, or be served, the very finest fresh fish and shellfish – as well as ready-made dishes and delicacies from our own kitchen. There is also a well-stocked wine bar.Large parties for between 20 and 500 guests are arranged in the midst of the hall’s century-old food tradition. Our Catering team provides a complete service at all levels, with experienced personnel and the best from Lisa’s extensive menu – prepared, decorated and served wherever required.

We enjoyed our lunch at Lisa's. The service was nice, food was fresh, and the atmosphere was nice. It does get crowded, we had to share our table with 2 other people. This is an indoor food hall. Local people come here too. We made reservations which was helpful. There is another Lisa's restaurant that outside that looked nice too.

Is it expensive? Depends on how much of a foodie you are and how much you are willing to pay for fresh, delicious seafood. We had delicious oysters, bleak roe and an amazing Kolapaj (caramel pie). Absolutely delicious. The restaurant is located in a market full of other little restaurants, counters and stands. Great "lively" atmosphere with activity all around.... More

This place serves teaditional swedish fish plates. The food is good but the prices are quite high. The place is a bar located in Östermalms Saluhall with 3 or 4 tables. Food is mainly served at the bar unless you're lucky enough to find one table free. Is fun to visit the place and have a bite there but if... More

Lisa Elmqyist is located in Osterman's Food Hall. It has its own retail fish market so you know the fish is fresh. My wife had Trout and I had a fish similar to monkfish with Ratatouille and a vegetable puree. Salad and bread were included. Although the cost was high ($100) for lunch in a seemingly casual place, the quality... More

We ate here for lunch, and it was delicious. Large portions of extremely fresh and well-cooked fish and shellfish. It is definitely not one of the cheaper restaurants, and lunch can easily cost as much as a dinner meal at another good restaurant, but it is worth it.

Located in a market, the atmosphere is not fancy but the setting unique. Our meal was superb (had sole and prawns). Even if you do not eat there, the market is worth a visit. Some of the best meats, fish and produce I have ever seen in a market. Lunch cost us about $40 usd with two beer, which, by... More
