We went for lunch with customers. Beautiful restaurant, old Swedish style. They serve lunch buffé with choice of meet, fish and vegetarian. More or less no staff, we had to wait to get a table. Sloppy staff. They didn't refill so we had to tell them several times. Lunch was good but the bad service takes over the experience.

We came 6 pm and not very busy. They served a buffe istead of dinner. Herring, salmon, cheese to start with. Then meet, chicken and sallad. Nice old place. Service very lousy almost arogant..

Unfortunately there is no brunch during the Summer but do hang around. In the Autumn we can enjoy the luxorious brunch again on each festive occasion. In case any one is disappoined with the service, please take it up with the owners. There is the tradition and there is the knowledge. If you present your critique in a diplomatic way you... More

We went there for a Sunday brunch with my wife. There is quite good selection of Swedish traditional dishes, herrings, meatballs etc. Nicely located, so if you visit ABBA Museum or go for a walk to Djurgarden or the near Skansen Museum, it's near.

Whether it's because of the location in tourist hot-spot Djurgården, that it is owned and run by a large hotel chain (Scandic), or that it is sharing its taxi stand with one of the most coach travel intense theatres we have in Stockholm (Cirkus) I don’t know – but for any or all of these reasons Hasselbacken restaurant is best... We tried the Sunday brunch. It was tastefull and varied. The kitchen is "traditional Swedish" adapted to the modern age. Alltogether a relaxed and pleasant experience.

Very disappointed after dinner with our family at Hasselbacken. A la carte menu was completely substituted with worst class tourist kitchen. Five waiters did not manage to wait on eight tables.. We had to walk over and remind them that we needed more drinks. Horrible experience overall. Pick another restaurant if you want a pleasant experience.

Went here to celebrate our wedding anneversary with a Sunday brunch. The venue is very cosy, romantic and if you get a privat booth its brilliant. The food however, is so poor that we actually discussed it with several friends. The classic brunch should, in our opinion, always contain eggs and bacon. No bacon (or similarities to hotel breakfast) to... More

We had made table reservation weeks ago. Restaurant had few bigger groups (family reunions) no much other customers still they tried to give us the worst table - next to the entrance. We managed finally get a nice table next to window - beautiful restaurant. I guess we got the only smiling waitress there was, she was busy... so no... More

Hete it is. The century old Hasselbacken restaurant, where the Hasselbacken way to cook potatoes was invented. A legend, like Cafe de Paris. I took my wife and my father with wife here, for what I expected to be a special dinner. Arriving, they had lost my table reservation. No doubt because I booked earlier the same day. We got... More
