I asked my cousin (a local) to take me for the real deal, not fusion. Pelikan does not disappoint. I felt like I stepped into old Stockholm of 100 years ago. Excellent food and service. This Texan did not go home hungry.

Really typical swedish restaurant atmosphere. The service was really good, very kind and helpful. I strongly recommend the meatballs (really good) and the reindeer tasty meat.

Nice old place in Stockholm, where the locals meet for dinner. Real swedish traditional food, a little noisy but nice ambience.

I'd never had Swedish meatballs before coming here so I have nothing to compare it to but they were amazing! Staff was friendly, service was quick, all in all a great place.

I usually bring my visitors here for a taste of refined Swedish cuisine. The room is very nicely decorated and the "background noise" from the guests is actually a pleasant thing! The food is very good although kinda pricey...but hey, its stockholm...probably you can't find cheaper at this quality so i definitely recommend the place.

It's a really old restaurant in Soderhamn that serves delicious traditional dishes like pork knuckle, herring, and of course, swedish meatballs. This is not anything like what you get at the Ikea cafeteria. The food was delicious ad service was efficient.

This place is where the locals go to have proper food, homemade food and local beer from just around the corner! The service perfect mix of informal with a chat about the food, beer and weather and the news, you really feel ar home here! And the meatballs with mashed potatoes: brilliant!

A very, very ordinary menu. Crowded, noisy and not a great room. You have to work to get service. There is nothing unique here that is worth the price or the taxi ride.

Must have their meatballs! Huge (bigger than golf balls) and so juicy, served with powdery mash potatoes and preserved lingonberry (not jam). The meatballs alone makes the meal worthwhile. The service is efficient, neither friendly or unfriendly. Beer is expensive. But, overall the setting feel traditional and warm.

The food in Stockholm is first class, from Ethiopia to vietnam and loads of cuisines on top of that. We were having a fantastic meal with some Swedish friends and they said the weird thing is that you can dine around the world in Stockholm but there are very few good traditional Swedish restaurants, well this is the best.
