The food certainly is among the best Malmö has to offer. We like the no-nonsense attitude. It shouldn't be considered "bad" service. When we have asked for advice, the answers were brief and to the point.

Like the vietnamese soup, fresh springroll with prawns and the lemon lemonade but the straff is not service minded.

I do not know what they have in their soup base or what ingredients they put in their noodle soup dishes, such as the "bun bho hue", it is crazy delicious and has a distinct spicy taste in to it. I've had the same legitimate foods in Vietnam by Vietnamese natives themselves, and it is nowhere close to the great... More

Hi, went here and ordered beef with rice and veg and chicken with rice and veg - uneatable. The beef looked like a plateful of worms and the kids would not touch it. The chicken with onions and lemongrass was marginally better so 3 of us shared that. Service was very slow and they didn't speak English.

This place used to be a chinese restaurant once with almost no people. And for a few years ago it turned it into Malmos first Vietnamese restaurant with a few dishes and today there are more. The couple that owns it are from both countries. The food are really authentic and ofcourse great. You should try out the fresh spring... More

This restaurant was formerly a regular Chinese restaurant that did not have too many guests each week. When they changed the menu to dishes from Vietnam the place quickly became morepopular. Now, you almost need book a table to enjoy their food. They also have take-away food. The price of the main courses are around 100 sec and it is... More

http://www.restaurangasien.se/ http://www.sydsvenskan.se/mat-och-dryck/article1198503/Hjartat-fick-styra-i-koket.html The restaurant is now redecorated and do have wine and Vietnamese beer. Like many regulars, I recommend nr 31: Sweet and sour soup (tamarind fruit) with salmon and vegetables (bean sprouts, tomato and lily stems), nr 22: Sweet and sour soup (tamarind fruit) with salmon and vegetables (bean sprouts, tomato and lily stems) and nr 39: Wok beef... The Restaurang Asien have received very good acclaim in the local food press since the head chef Lang Thi Be Tu turned the restaurant from chinese to vietnamese in late 2006. The location is almost hidden at a corner of Ystadsgatan, past the Möllevångstorget. Asien is sparsely decorated, with 30-40 seating places, a bar (without alcohol) where the waiter/manager is...
