Description: Johan P has a genuine food hall atmosphere with well-prepared dishes using fish and shell fish from the day's catch. The restaurant has a southern European feel and the fish is always fresh. Next door there's a delicatessen where you can also order catering. There's also an oyster bar within touching distance from the delicatessen and fish counter. It's perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and oysters at either lunchtime or in the evening.

turned up (Sunday evening) and were snapped at by a very rude waitresses who said she was very busy and couldn't seat us anywhere (despite at least 70% of the restaurant being empty!!). Apparently they didn't have enough staff to cope with all their tables. Shameful attitude....went across the square to the steakhouse instead and greeted with a much warmer... More

Very nice fish-centric restaurant. Went on a Sunday night (much is closed in Malmo), and had their special two-course meal. A relative bargain for Sweden. When we got the bill, however, we were charged 30SEK for the two bottles of tap water (no ice). The bottles are actually the sparkling water bottles that they sell that have been refilled. Really??... More

The new place is a clear improvement. The food was really good and the wine list is still very good, even if the prices are a little hefty. When we were there the waiting was rather long, but I guess that the number of guests were larger than commonly. Still one of the only places to get seafood in Malmö... More

Nice restaurant with and excellent shop! This is supposed to be the best fish restaurant in Malmö, this was also the reason for our pick. I must say I had expected more but it is a nice place with an average kitchen, they should really work a bit more on the presentation of the dishes

We went to the restaurant in the railway station. The waiter who served us was so pleasant, he translated the menu into english, and was so warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. We both checked into facebook to share this restaurant with our friends we were so impressed. Would definitely return!

Ok agreed, it's a bit expensive and service a bit slow but the quality of the food is sensational, the new location is really nice and smart and will carry on going to such a reliable fantastic place every time I go back to Malmo - worth it!

Johan P. has two restaurants - the old one near Lilla Torg (see my previous rewiew ) and a new one at the central station. At both places they have a special daily dish with fish at lunch , and has always kept a high standard. We often go there at weekdays when the hunger for fish is overwhelming !... More

Very very slow service, quite high prices. But good seafood & friendly staff. Preferred the old location but this is still central.

Requested no mayo, no butter and they gladly prepared an excellent shrimp, egg, cucumber, tomato, fennel-garnished on a plate of black bread with curly dark leaf lettuce topped with lemon wedges. White wine and water served also on a white table cloth with pewter table settings. Most pleasant service. Well priced. Delicious. An excellent find at the train station. The... More
