The Maître De was very pleasant but unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectation. I ordered a John Dory at a cost of 45 Euros and was expecting something quite good for the price. Not sure if this is a local speciality but the fish was barely tepid and bordering on raw when presented. Deserts were also disappointing, we... More

We chose Julie's at random. It's a great location, and we ate on the terrace in the evening. The food was good but not exceptional. The mussels were very tasty but small as was the pasta with clams (v small). We would definitely go again. The service was good and friendly and the setting worth going for.

We enjoyed a lovely meal of fresh seafood and fish at this restaurant last night. The local oysters and mussels were beautiful and the Bourride de Lotte was tasty and recommended. Nice location on bank of the Etang with views across to Sete. Limited choice for anyone in your party not wanting fish and our Son's steak was a little... More

A romantic place for an excellent fishy meal. Bouzigues is a pretty fishing village with lots of restaurants on the promenade overlooking the Bassin from which most of the ingredients come. Chez Julie sources most of its menu locally and serves excellent lunches and dinners promptly with good humour and service. Apart from eating at promenade level, there is an... More

We sat outside and it was lovely, but the food was a mixed review. I had baked mussels for my starter and my partner had fish soup. Mine was lovely but again small small mussels, my partners soup was in his words so so. It certainly didn't look appealing, but that's got nothing to do with the taste. Entree I... More

We ate here on a fine, sunny ( but windy ) Sunday evening and ate seafood as fresh as it comes. If you like coquillages, Bouzigues is the place! Chez Julie was lovely, but our table was close to the entrance and I'm sure that on a warm evening, with the screens rolled up, this would be a delightful location.... More

Enjoyed a great lunch! Why else would you go to Bouziques, if not for local seafood? We went on a bitter cold/windy low-season day (mid-week, lunchtime mid-November), and many restaurants were closed. We were very happy that Julie's was open. We ate in the closed-in patio, and had menu du jour options that did not disappoint! My main course of... More

The owner and founder Julie worked in other places where she learned " the trade". She and the people working for her are very friendly , helpful and professional. We go there several times a year. There is a wide range of choise in 'fruits de mer ' and fish. I advice to follow the season. So this time of... More
