We had an amazing 5 course dinner with an excellent choice of wines. Each dish was made to perfection both when it came to taste as well as presentation. No hesitation in recommending Camp Ripan to the most demanding food critic.

We were only here for one (impromptu) night, so only sampled delights of the bar and breakfast next morning. Excellent choice on buffet style breakfast - to suit all tastes. Fresh, hot & plenty. Gorgeous bread, but omelette a bit strange, though not entirely unpleasant. Cabins were great with good shower. 2 bunk beds in one room & 2 single... More

I liked that it was less expensive vs ice hotel restaurant and it was really tasty. I ask for the mushroon soup and the fish. My husband had the ALG and it was really good! (Moose with barbacue sauce). And both the chocolate truffles as dessert. Make sure to have reservation or you can run the risk of not being... More

We were a little concerned by the lack of options on the Camp Ripan menu - not a lot if you were vegetarian, and even less if you didn't like mushrooms, but there was no need to worry. The mushroom soup starter with cognac and truffles was mouth watering and full of flavour, and then my wife's vegetarian dish was... More

I wouldnt be surprised if this is the best restaurant in town. Had a great white fish here and enjoyed their good selection of beers. Nice bread and treats, as well as good service. Nice interior. Would go again

Great food, excellent service. The only problem is that the choice of dishes is limited, so you will hardly want to go there more than once or twice. Reservation is compulsory. You can ask to have the meal ready when you arrive - very useful if you plan some activities after the dinner. I don't know, if this option is... More

We ate here on one night of our stay at Camp Ripan. It was quite a surreal experience as the presentation, service and quality of food were formal, yet, through necessity, we were casually dressed in our fleeces. The food was quite pricey (3 courses and one drink each for two people came to over £100), but this seemed to... More

We took a rephreshing and beautiful 10 min walk from city center. The place is very nice and food was excellent. Kids had pasta carbonara and we had the reindeer and the veal all very taste.

Already looked good from the outside, because it's relatively new. Most buildings above the arctic circle look as if they need to be painted. Nice design stuff. Not much of a view but cozy inside. One of the few places in this northern part of Europe where you can dress up for dinner and don't look silly. Had the reindeer.... More

We set out for an evening walk in the snow and became hungry so when we came across Camp Ripan and saw the menu we decided to give it a try. Several of us opted for traditional Swedish meal including reindeer and lingonberry. The meal was cooked very well and tasted lovely but on our budget it was a relatively... More
