Really good local dining place. But credit cards are not accepted. (ATM next door). Prices are lower than in touristic places. Free WIFI.

Visited again in March 2013. This was our third visit to this Cafe. We love the smorrebord. Three tasty open sandwiches, one fried fish, one prawns and eggs and the third is roast beef with horseradish. All the food is freshly made. This comes with a drink (beer for me) and also an aquavit drink. All very tasty and satisfying. The cost... More

We found this cafe on TA looking for a place to eat in Helsingor. The main dish was indeed tasty, but that was the only good thing about this place. The bad ones were: 1. They don't have English menu. That's strange, given that the place is a tourist attraction, and Danish is not the most populat language in the... More

We had their special of fried flat fish, prawns and hard-boiled egg salad, and beef smorrebord, with a soft drink, for 69 kroner and it was excellent. Agree with other reviewers about good portions. Thanks to the lovely waitress!

Its a crowded place but nice service. Food was good and surely enough. One of the cokes were warm which is a draw back. Inside is not that charming but outside is nice if there is an available table

We stumble into this place while walking around. We decided to give a try without checking TAs review, I'm glad we did! The food was amazing! We had this young guy serving us, good looking and speaks really good English, perfect service. I have uploaded a pic of the lunch, 3 smorgasbord +beer and only 75dkr, so cheap! Very delicious... The best place to eat smorrebrodt after your visit at amlet's castel. Very cheap and more confortable. Try it ti believe me. Also bere you can discover the real danish friendliness.
