Nice breakfast

Only had breakfast there a couple of times, but that was good and not very expensive (given high prices in Copenhagen). The staff was wonderful.

My family and I recently had lunch at cafe wilder while traveling in Copenhagen. The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and even our baby was comfortable. We had the duck dish and it was very good. There is also a great selection of beers. Worth a visit, very good food and good service

We had brunch here during our holiday and it was the best breakfast/brunch of our trip. Reasonably priced and we could choose what we wanted off a checklist - our daughters aged 7 & 9 loved filling in the forms! All delicious and a really good atmosphere.

The waitress was not pleasant, and the food tasted burnt. the waiter was a young man who constantly seemed annoyed. He answered us in a rude manner and i didnt feel wanted there. So they really need to do somethig about the staff.

This is a really nice place to enjoy Danish food and experience Christianshavn. Set in the heart of this famous area of Copenhagen, Café Wilder is a nice dining experience. I experienced it as a business lunch (8 people) and will put it on the list to enjoy with the family. I had two of the Smørrebrød selections (steak tartare... More

We had a breakfast here and an evening meal. Chic surroundings and delightful staff. We met Sebastian at breakfast and for our evening meal, Michael was very helpful in sorting out a table for us and both were excellent waiters. We had come over from the B&B opposite which has a voucher system and at this Cafe you can pick... More

Went here as part of a Borgen pilgrimage (Katrin unexpectedly sees Kaspar with his new woman here) and had an unexpectedly lovely meal. Best and most expensive dessert of my life (white chocolate ganache with passion fruit granita). Wept at the size of the bill but only for a brief moment - everywhere is expensive here.

Superb food and very nice little cafe. I've been there for dinner, this time for lunch with friends. A small menu - but exciting dishes. I had the burger, the other two had tartar. Both were excellent. Grilled burger served rare with great flavours - nice bun and great fries. Tartar was lovely presented and very good.

Had a fantastic meal here two days ago. Hidden along the back streets of christianshaven, this cafe / restaurant has a small menu but that doesn't matter because what ever you order will be delicious. The price isn't too extortionate and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and chatty. Sebastian was hilarious.

On our way to visit Christiania we stopped off here for a mid day snack. I really fancied a coffee & cake but unfortunately they had no cakes at all which was disappointing. Hubby had an open sandwich which he enjoyed with a couple of beers. Service was friendly. Lots of locals were there for lunch. Good place.

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighborhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
