We had a quick lunch un this busy café in our last day in the city after visiting Cristiania. The restaurant is lovely, although tables are quite small and on top of each other. I felt the menu lacked a bit of choices... I had two of the Danish open sandwiches and really liked them, although I should have asked... More

Great food, great wine, great service in this very busy bar. Went on a Wednesday night and this bar was packed. hardly surprising since the whole experience was a delight.

We were walking round Christianshavn (near Christiania and well worth a visit) and felt hungry. On a corner we found a restaurant that looked cosy - Café Wilder. We were very well treated by smiling staff members. The menu looked interesting. We started by sharing the liver paté (home-made and with just the right consistency), accompanied (if I remember rightly)... More

I heard a lots of good reviews of this cafe. It's cozy and the great spot to get some rest after visit the Chrsitania. As you know, Copenhagen is a pricy city. My husband and I are big eater. I normally feel the plates is not big enough for me. But I was amazed by the huge quantity of my... More

A very nice, small cafe. We enjoyed a great lunch for a reasonable price. The service was very helpful in explaining some of the dishes and local drink selections.

Very cosy cafe with a small, but interesting menu. We had wild bore and it was very good. Only 3 main dishes, but rather a small menu with good food, than a lot o choices and bland food ( surprisingly often thats the case ). A good selection of wine in glasses and lots of different beers. We had tart... More

We were wandering around Copenhagen and needed a break, we found this place and stopped for a drink. The place was lovely and the food (which we saw others have) looked nice. The service was great and the staff were first class. For Copenhagen it was really reasonably priced too.

Cafe Wilder offers up atmosphere, seasonal food that brings you back to tasteful basics and a coziness that is welcoming and off the beaten track. Set just off the canals in Christianshavn, a few nights ago I wandered in to Cafe Wilder expecting a basic cafe meal. Instead, I was treated to sauteed pig's cheek with horseradish, wild boar with... From all the different places to eat near, by and in Nyhavn, this is in the top 3! The menu is fairly simple - and short. Which means they've become really good at making the dishes. The prices are really fair too. Be sure to order the pommes frites if it's not included in your meal - they are HIGH... More
