Cosy, friendly and good food

This was the best meal we enjoyed in Copenhagen. The restaurant was packed with locals and people queued to come in. Delicious rigatoni with truffle sauce and a spaghetti marinara accompanied by a very pleasant jug of house wine. Reasonably priced by Copenhagen standards and we would most... read more

probably been a bit harsh with the three stars. This restaurant has a very pleasant look. White walls and table cloths. Dean Martin music playing. Nice atmosphere created as a result. The menu and food is pretty basic Itallian. But if you are looking for something really solid, if like us you've been overdoing the fine dining in Cph, then... More

A small, not easy to find but worth looking for, italian restaurant in Copenhagen. I first ran into it by accident but keep comming back. The food is excellent and tastelike Italy. The atmosphere is cosy romantic. And the staff is gentile. No wonder the italians living in Copenhagen goes here for their evening out. Grazie e complimente

Looks like a decent Italian restaurant - but unfortunately the quality of the food was very disappointing. The pasta was overcooked, the sauce tasted salty and prefabricated. Served extremely quickly - did they heat it up in the micro wave oven?? But on the plus side: Central location, very close to Stroeget. Staff was friendly and attentive, and service was... More

Nice cozy restaurant near the City hall square and the central station. Good quality food and friendly service. The starter "Mare e monti" (with shrimps, mussels and mushrooms in a tomato sauce) was very tasty. The main dish "Salmone ala Griglia" (salmon from the grill with a white wine and tomato sauce) was also delicious! Prices are rather low when... More

Extremely good and authentic Italian food and great value for money. Actually one of my regulars, and this place always delivers on quality and service. You wont find pizza on the menu here, just down to earth, good tasting antipasti, pasta, meat dishes and deserts with all the recipes coming directly from the home country. And it won't cost you... Really a great location for Italian, it's very close to the center (just in another street from the main street) and really worth the visit! It's quite a small location so in general it's always full, you see many Danish eating here and waiting at the bar for a table to become free. Why can be determined quite quickly, the... More

Just happened to pass this restaurant whilst walking past and decided to drop in, a great decision! Attentive, but not overbearing staff, and the food was sublime - steak was cooked to perfection for what I like and the bruschetta although a simple dish, was so tasty! I recommend finding this place if you are in Copenhagen, reasonable prices too!

A fellow Copenhagener and myself have just feasted on a fantastic meal: the best lasagne in town by quite some distance. Cozy restaurant in Lavendelstræde, with a pleasant host and warm atmosphere.

We like Italian restaurants and this one did not let us down. Instead a pasta or pizza we opted for primi asparagus and a main of veal. the food was well presented and beautifully cooked and accompanied by a bottle of chianti. The price was reasonable for Denmark which is a very expensive place for visitors. At least here the... More
