Based on our early memories and impressions, we reinterpret the way Danish food should be prepared. With great respect for the original French craft of cooking, and by using novel techniques, we prepare food that reflects true elegance, and at the same time - attention to details. Our kitchen has successfully accomplished its mission this year by achieving a star in the Michelin guide - a clear recognition of the hard work and high dedication of our staff. Our restaurant is located in a charming area of Copenhagen, where tradition and rejuvenation meet - a perfect match for the food we serve.

The best meal I have ever had

Delicious taster menu, matched with wine. Everything explained to us by friendly staff. My 10 year old son also tried everything and declared it delicious, and his courses were paired with blended juices to compliment the food - so kids and non-drinkers do not feel left out. Really, the best food I... read more

We, four friends, had a table booked and at the end of our long journey towards Copenhagen they call us one hour before scheduled time and tell us they do not have a table for us! It is not so easy to find another alternative on a Saturday evening... The next day we receive a mail thaanking us for the... More

I ate at Kokkeriet a couple of days before the Copenhagen Marathon so was not drinking however even without wine the bill for two came to £230. Copenhagen is very expensive however the good restaurants such as this one is world class. We had the smaller of the set dinners (seven courses) which was excellent. Great care had been taken... Kokkeriet is one of the most popular of Copenhagen's numerous Michelin-star restaurants. It is located next to the old and very charming Nyboder district. The restaurant recommends a 7 or 11 course degustation menu which consists of Danish classics with a modern twist. The service is outstanding (!) and the food is a great gastronomic experience. One "but" is the... More

Dear Guest Thank you for the lovely words - they are truly appreciated. I will make sure to pass on the words about the service to the waiters and the words about the food to the chefs :) Thank you for the feedback on the time it takes - We are at the moment combining a 'smaller' weekday menu for... The food was beyond incredible. We ordered from the Ala carte menu (had been eating too much the past few days and so didn't go for the tasting menu), and the lamb our server Michelle recommended was the best lamb I've had. The cod my companion ordered was deliciously moist as well. The snacks we had before our meal were... More

The place is so much understatement at first - discrete when it comes to the location. This makes it a place where u feel comfortable!! I can really recommend it!!

We had the small tasting menu and really enjoyed it. Loved the little snacks served whilst choosing what you want. The duck course was amazing and my favourite whilst my partner loved the amousse of squid, cauliflower and hazelnut. Who would have thought to put that combination together? The service was lovely also. All I would is that, whilst the... More

This is one of the best restaurants we have ever experienced. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly - absolutely no pretentions. The menu is varied and interesting and accompanied by multiple little appetizers and post meal gifts that you scarcely need your main course! The braised beef and the perch pike were amazing, but I am sure all the... More

We choose the “smaller” menu for 900.-, which was absolutely enough if you are not close to starving. The food was more on the classical side, but always with a modern, innovative touch. It all tasted very good. We choose a bottle of wine – we normally take the wine pairing – and got a very nice wine for a... More

This excellent, creative restaurant with a muted, calming decor primarily serves a tasting menu. The various plates contained large portions for this type of menu and often had sauces spooned over them. These 7 or 11 plates were preceded by 4 "snacks" to whet the appetite plus an amuse bouche. All in all a heavy calorie load which detracted from... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed the service and the food. As you say, our new menu is adjusted so its not as big as it was.
