Kokkeriet is a place with contrasts. It is a small restaurant with big ambitions. Familiar taste in an unfamiliar context. High-flying passion with a hint of grounded reality. It's a gastronomic choice in a different rendition of classic as well as new Danish dishes. Kokkeriet is all four seasons. It's sprouting and succulent dishes in spring, light and elegant dishes in summer, longing and melancholic tastes in fall, and comfortable, warming dishes in winter. It is love, understanding and respect for Danish gastronomy. With a twinkle in the eye, curiosity, obstinacy and a genuine intention to serve sublime Danish food reconstructed in the best possible way. Something we by the way are very proud of being awarded a star for in The Michelin Guide. Kokkeriet is modern and old fashioned, innovative and traditional, decadent and minimalistic, pretentious as well as humble... And we are looking much forward to invite you in.

We came here at the recommendation of our hotel d'Angelterre and also friends who raved about their experience here. It exceeded our expectations. First the greeting at the door was warm, friendly and not the least bit pretentious, which can sometimes be the case at such distinguished restaurants. At the very beginning the "snacks" came fast one right after the... More

English version below. Sidst... More

I have been to some of the finest restaurants around the world and Michelin starred Kokkeriet was simply superb in every way. The dining experience blended the local flavors of Denmark with a presentation mastery that matched art with fine dining. The Service was outstanding with English speaking staff explaining each dish and their ingredients with true precision. Everyone was... More

This is cuisine that is supposedly made by your Grandma and reimagined by the chef. And it might have been if I was Danish! Still, me and Mrs Bacca really enjoyed the night. If there was anything that stuck in our mind, it was that the food was the most brilliantly coloured that I have ever eaten; bright, shiny purples... More

Dear Guest Thank you very much for you review. We are really happy that you enjoyed your evening at Kokkeriet. Regarding the Danish cuisine - it is true that Danish guests will know the original dishes - but for foreigners we hope to give a modern view of and insight into Danish flavors and traditions. While all comments say it's a lovely place, we were truly disappointed. We have been to many restaurants in the world but this did not meet our expectations.

i had dinner with my sister in law and we both wanted a different dining experience. Kokkeriet delivered! The service and the burst of flavor when you bite into the food... awesome! Very friendly english speaking staff who explains every dish. On the pricey side but totally worth the experience.

This was a lovely meal of excellent food with great service. We were shown to our table on arrival, invited to order champagne and informed we would get 5 small tasters demonstrating aspects of Danish food culture. These came one at a time with descriptions and took a while. We were offered 2 top ups of champagne, accepted the first... More

Delicious taster menu, matched with wine. Everything explained to us by friendly staff. My 10 year old son also tried everything and declared it delicious, and his courses were paired with blended juices to compliment the food - so kids and non-drinkers do not feel left out. Really, the best food I have ever eaten.

I ate at Kokkeriet a couple of days before the Copenhagen Marathon so was not drinking however even without wine the bill for two came to £230. Copenhagen is very expensive however the good restaurants such as this one is world class. We had the smaller of the set dinners (seven courses) which was excellent. Great care had been taken...
