Description: Based on our early memories and impressions, we reinterpret the way Danish food should be prepared. With great respect for the original French craft of cooking, and by using novel techniques, we prepare food that reflects true elegance, and at the same time - attention to details. Our kitchen has successfully accomplished its mission this year by achieving a star in the Michelin guide - a clear recognition of the hard work and high dedication of our staff. Our restaurant is located in a charming area of Copenhagen, where tradition and rejuvenation meet - a perfect match for the food we serve.

This was undoubtedly the dining experience of a lifetime - though we might just do it once again! Interesting, original and utterly delicious are the words that occur. We had the short tasting menu, which (even though we are not that abstemious) was quite enough for satisfaction. We added the cheese option, which was excellent. To me every stage of the... More

I was lucky enough to be taken to the restaurant and had no idea what to expect ( apart from knowing it would be good, due to the Michelin star). The staff were faultless, and superbly coordinated, and extremely knowledgable without any of the usual arrogance. The room was wonderful for our group of 12, very atmospheric, and just the... More

Our dinner at Kokkeriet was, without doubt, one of the best dining experiences. The service was fantastic! The waitstaff seemed to anticipate our requests before we even had a chance to make them. Moreover, their accommodation of dietary requirements is fantastic. Our party included a lactose intolerant as well as a gluten intolerant, and the cuisine was uniformly fabulous for... More

This is exactly what I look forward to in a restaurant of this quality. We were seated and fed with a glass of champagne and 3 tasting mouthfuls before we were handed a menu. A great food journey and a lovely evening.

We had high expectations of Kokkeriet. This wasn't a cheap restaurant but, aside from Danish prices, we still expected something special. This place has been set up with real precision - the staff (many of them) each have a role to play and whilst we had a number of people serve us throughout the course of our dinner, it didn't... A culinary adventure of modern Danish cuisine. The food is a reimagining of traditional Danish food and does not disappoint. The two of us had the shorter of two degustation menus on offer, with matching wines. I don't eat cheese, and the restaurant happily catered for my aversion. Starting with some appetisers that challenged the notion of an appetizer -... More

Went there with 10 of us last night. Service was impeccable. Food was outstanding. Very creative interpretations of Classic Danish dishes. Wine pairing was very good. Only minor complaint is that it took us almost five hours for the 11 course menu...a tad slow. But there were 10 of us. Highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Kokkeriet falls in the 'food discovery' category. From the moment you sit in the very comfortable room, they start showcasing little appetisers of very high creativity and taste. We chose the 'small' 11 courses menu: it was more than enough and what a treat! Excellent service, good wine list and price in line with the quality (wine a bit too... More

My daughter and I just returned from our first trip to Scandinavia and we ate here our first night at the recommendation of Ulrich, the concierge at the Admiral Hotel. I had desperately wanted to go to Noma and we couldn't get in so he suggested this restaurant. I read the reviews and I must say it was everything people... More
