Kokkeriet is a place with contrasts.

It is a small restaurant with big ambitions. Familiar taste in an unfamiliar context. High-flying passion with a hint of grounded reality.
It's a gastronomic choice in a different rendition of classic as well as new Danish dishes.

Kokkeriet is all four seasons. It's sprouting and succulent dishes in spring, light and elegant dishes in summer, longing and melancholic tastes in fall, and comfortable, warming dishes in winter. It is love, understanding and respect for Danish gastronomy. With a twinkle in the eye, curiosity, obstinacy and a genuine intention to serve sublime Danish food reconstructed in the best possible way.

Something we by the way are very proud of being awarded a star for in The Michelin Guide.

Kokkeriet is modern and old fashioned, innovative and traditional, decadent and minimalistic, pretentious as well as humble...

And we are looking much forward to invite you in.

We love a tasting menu. Hardly ever do them due to pricing, but this was incredible! We went all out and had the wines too. The service was mostly brilliant, although there was an obvious newbie there learning the ropes - she was very sweet though, it didn't matter! Some delicious ingredients I would never have dreamt of trying and... More

We came here for a very special occasion and it was a complete surprise for my husband. The restaurant is located quite off the beaten track which we were not expecting but it was well worth the journey. The staff are nothing but smiles and very obliging. The tasting menu was absolutely unforgettable. We sampled some of the finest foods... More

Lived up to our expectations and more. Having been recommended to us we were delighted to actually get a table. So glad we did. It's good to see management have taken notice of feedback and acted upon it. Service was exemplary. Water glasses filled regularly. Food was incredible and the wines matched with the food so beautifully. The knowledge of... More

Kokkeriet is a more then excellent restaurant on walking distance of the city center. We took the 12 course dinner with the wine-arrangement and had a wonderfull evening. Excellent food, nice wines and a very helpfull, friendly and professional staff. Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your visit and for your kind words! I am glad to hear, that you had a wonderful evening and that you enjoyed our menu and also the wine-pairings. I chose this restaurant for our company's Christmas dinner, and it was a success. From the first contact with them, they've been really professional. Everything we agreed upon was taken seriously and we even got something extra. So, the manager Sami was excellent. Then the stuff - the main waitress and the chef were super professional and answered all of... More

This was the first restaurant where my partner and I dined on our recent trip to Copenhagen. We had heard good things, but seriously, the restaurant went beyond our expectations in all things! From the attentive and friendly service to the comfortable atmosphere to, of course, the absolutely fantastic food, this was one of the highlights of our culinary adventures... More

I went here for dinner with my husband while on holiday. As a vegetarian I had confirmed with them when making a reservation that I am vegetarian. While being seated I was asked again when I was seated. We were then served snacks and then offered the menu. At this point I just decided to go for the longer menu... More

My husband and I had the 12 course taster menu and the wines to accompany the feast. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was impressive too. We were dining for 4 hours but it felt like 2. A great experience in a boutique style environment.

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
