Lovely!

I cycle past this place all the time but at last I've been in and tried the food -so pleased I did! The great thing I find about madklubbens are the select concise menu where I can almost order anything off it and be happy! This time I ordered a beef stew which was amazing, the meat was so... read more

We love coming here for dinner on our weekend breaks to Copenhagen. The service is always good, staff are friendly. The menu changes regularly which makes for great variety. They are doing some renovations at the moment so they cannot serve any warm drinks - tea coffee etc which was disappointing but they did serve complimentary champagne as a gesture... More

Based on the reviews I was expecting more at this restaurant. The appetizer was a wooden board with pickles, lettuce, olives, shrimp and raw beef. Everything tasted ok, but not special. I enjoyed the roasted root vegetables, but I could have passed on the cold green bean salad with the beef main dish.

I dined here with a work colleague early on a Thursday night. The restaurant was fairly busy, with few tables open, and over the course of our meal the restaurant filled up completely. I thought the food was excellent. Nothing too fussy about it, but well prepared and nicely presented. The menu choices are fairly limited, and would probably not... More

We chose this place when we paced this place but the food and specially the service was very normal. We end up coming out of restaurant a little bit hungry even though we ordered lots of bread!!

We ate here on our first night as we wanted to boom a safe option in advance as we found our way around. We were pleasantly surprised. For a chain of restaurants with a set menu it was really very good. The restaurant has a lovely cosy atmosphere and was busy. We were given a nice round table. The menu... More

I really like the concept of one price and choose 3 - 4 dishes. I had the salmon for appetizer, Rib-eye for main and chocolate fudge for desert. The wine list is plenty full and service pretty good. Be aware that although they say one price - expect to add 100 DK for the highest quality dishes. We paid aprx.... More

Had dinner with a group of 20 business associates. They limited us to chose from two appetizers and from two main dishes. This is what they do for large groups. No flexibility. Disapointing for a restaurant at this price range. The food was OK. Steak was chewy, soup was ok. Service was rude.

Visited this place when I visited Copenhagen a few days ago. The interior where great would call it Scandinavian and clean. Modern but bit old influences which where something I really liked. The concept is that you choose how many courses you will eat and that it's a "base price" for all of this. 2 courses = 150 DDK 3... More

Living nearby, I often head to Madklubben for a delicious and easy dinner. Unpretentious with a good atmosphere. Make sure you book on weekends.
