The best ice cream in Denmark

Creamy, delicious fresh ice cream. The place is never without a long queue in the summers. Ismageriet promotes local produce by buying local berries etc. from neighboring gardens and exchanging that for equal amount of ice cream - if that's not sustainable then I don't know what is!

This is absolutely the best ice cream in all of Denmark. This place cannot be missed. It is not in downtown Copenhagen - it is on Amager, but I, as well as many others, are willing to drive to get the best ice cream Denmark has to offer. I always buy their ice cream when we have guests over for... More

Rent a bike and head out here. The shop itself is gorgeous and full of time gone by by charm. The ice cream is brilliant and the selection like wise. Spring and summer this is def a place to head out to. Same time you get to see some of 'Cph suburbia'.

The ice cream is simply amazing and they have a great variety of flavours. The place itself is very retro and has a cozy feeling to it.

Outside of Vienna, this is the best Mango ice cream we have tasted. The other flavours were great too :)

Went twice during our stay in Copenhagen and the ice cream was gorgeous. I had chocolate ice cream with marshmallow on top. The prices are very reasonable as its out of the way and mainly used by locals. The lady who served us was very friendly and translated everything. She even helped us with directions back to our hotel! From... More

Great ice cream selections with outdoor seating. Just asimple perfect place to be when the weather is hot and you feel like having ice creams and cold drinks. Be ready to ''share'' your ice cream with the bees though as it can be quite many of them :)

Perfect ice cream, always top quality. My favourite is mint with huge chunks of dark chocolate. We even went in February, with mittens, in freezing sunshine.
