Restaurant PUK is a classic and historic Danish restaurant in the very heart of Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen with a history dating back to 1750. Here came the Danish King Christian VII along with his mistress in the late 19th century when they were in town together. Simply delicious

We both had a grilled salmon which was perfectly prepared. We had a warm blueberry tart for desert which was a great example of comfort food

Found this place on trip advisor with good recommendation so headed there to find it fully booked. The waiter, who I have to say was fantastic, said no problem, have a beer in the bar next door (~14 different beers on draft) and I'll come get you when we have space, 20 minutes later a table is ready. We had... More

Lovely little restaurant in an atmospheric setting. Staff were very friendly and passionate about the food which was great. Food was delicious and extremely reasonable; loved the maxi burger and the pork. Fantastic value for money and a fabulous spot for lunch.

Went there for lunch. Quiet on that day. Traditional Danish open sandwiches available. I ordered "pariser bøf". It is minced meat formed round and then pressed a bit flat. Served with beetroot and lots of other stuff. It looked rather big and I had breakfast not that long ago so it was more than enough. I was not disappointed. It... More

Me and my girlfriend tried more restaurants in Copenhagen and this was the worst. The beef was like chewing gum, the roast pork was not roasted at all... It took ages for the waiter to attend. I wouldn't come again.

Recommended as one of the few 'traditional' restaurants in Copenhagen. They were fully booked for the night, but were able to squeeze me in as I was eating early. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was hearty and delicious. I had the crispy skin roast pork, and it was done perfectly. A little pricy maybe, but I felt... More

If you're like me, eating out on business trips can become a little tiresome. Puk delivered a tasty, local meal in a low key setting without all the general fuss of eating out. Service was excellent and relaxed, simple but delicious menu. We finished feeling like we'd had a great home-cooked meal - something I often yearn for. Would recommend... More

A great find in the centre of Copenhagen. The service was friendly and the food very good. We are not talking haute cuisine but homely, well-cooked Danish food. Main course portions are very generous and good value.
