A taste of France in Denmark

Delicious food and good service. Enjoyable atmosphere, relaxed and informal. Home made crusty bread. The lamb and whole fish was simply cooked to perfection with a good range of vegetables. We shared a generous individual rhubarb crumble and a cheese board. We ate outside on the pavement and came... read more

We had snails for entree very tasty, with mussels and steak as our mains both exceptional dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant if staying in Copenhagen.

Was there for the national day and was not impressed. Waiter not even saying "hello" to greet us. She them forgot to write the two starters we ordered. As results the main course arrived...after 1h!! but not the starter. We complained and she was then changed for another waiter lot nicer and more friendly. As staff management it would have... More

Busy French bistro with a lot of noise, waiters loud, Edith Piaf singing, just like in Paris. I love the place, the food is very good, high quality, lot's of taste. The menu is changing often, so you can always find something new to try. The place is a bit narrow, you will get close to the next table, but... More

Popped in for a meal with a group of friends on my recent trip to Copenhagen. The restaurant is small, quaint and oozing french charm. In my opinion, my meal was good, but not great. My companions ordered Beef Filet with Truffle sauce, Moules & Frites, and a lamb dish which I cannot remember the name of. While I thought... More

If you want genuine French food and beverages you may visit this small restaurant, because all recipes are French and prepared by a Frenchman. The waiters are French as well but they speak both English and Danish. Together with two of my family group I chose the "plat du jour" (today´s special) which was a wonderful lamb shank served with... More

IF you like French bistro of a time that's probably gone now in France itself (you know, classic, rich French cooking: moules/ Creme du Barry/ Magret de Canard), washed down with good wine in a cozy bistro atmosphere - you'll love it. It's the antithesis of Kopenhavn chic, the opposite of clinical lines/bright lighting and the uber expensive dining "experience".... More

Things got off to a funny start when we tried to order San Pelligrino and were told that "we only serve things that are really French" and therefore we must order a Perrier. The cheese plate was very very good. The lamb was just ok and the bouillabaisse was pretty good. It did feel like an authentic French bistro, complete... More

Not even in France have I eaten so delicious french food, I love how casual an unpretentious this place is once one sits down. I also must add that I have been there at least four times and every single time I ordered different wine which was always perfectly picked for whatever I ate that day.

Lovely French bistro with authentic ambience in the old part of town. Good food and nice staff. Been there several times.
