We visited Kiin Kiin on New Year’s eve and had the set menu with wines. The evening started with champagne and around 7 appetizers at the lounge before moving upstairs to the tables. Already the appetizers were tasty and innovative but at the table the real magic started to happen. One after another we were spoiled with beautiful dishes. I... More

This was without a doubt the best meal we had in Copenhagen, absolutely outstanding! Every dish was presented beautifully, with amazing flavours of Thailand; sweet, sour, salty, everything! It was so good that we bought the recipe book the next day to bring home. The tasting menu is definitely well worth the money, and very reasonably priced for a Michelin... More

We had the menu containing 8 different serves of delicious "somethings" we had never eaten before. Each course was explained by the very attentive and friendly staff - but being so unusual I forgot immediately. What I will not forget is the splendid evening we had at the Kiin Kiin

We had our New Years day dinner here and it was truly remarkable. Service is excellent...never patronising or condescending..Super friendly, chatty and appreciative of our enjoyment. The Chefs were involved in the service too, as well as pouring water and helping us into our chairs..which i found quite touching and humble. Food was just amazing...every course was surprising and delicious and... More

The course at Kiin Kiin is food entertainment at a very high level. The presentation is fun and unique (when preparing a dressing for a cucumber/beef salad, the waiter grinds herbs into lime juice and fish sauce and pours it over cotton candy). The atmosphere is very nice. The food is just one explosion of taste and aroma after another.... More

There was a Thai restaurant with a Michelin star in London once. I don't remember the name but it did not have the inventiveness and playfulness as Kiin Kiin. We started of in the Lobby with small dishes coming until we lost track of them. Probably five or six and then the 10 course dinner started. New takes on thai... More

So we were recommend to come here for dinner and typically when in Copenhagen, Thai is not whats on my list... what a surprise! Kiin Kiin is one of only two Michelin star rated restaurants in the world. Every dish was very creative and delicious as most of the reviews mention. A great experience.

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
