Great beer - but expensive.

I have vistied the place several times for great beer, and it is great but its also expensive. If you are a beer lover its a great place for good, tastey fresh beer... but it is relative expensive. Downstairs is for drinking and upstairs for eating. I havent tried the food.

I'd told our family that we wanted to do a beer tasting whilst visiting them in Copenhagen and they organised a visit here. We had a wonderful fun evening starting with our beer tasting, our guide (sadly I didn't write down her name) was great, especially as just as she was about to start she was told that the tasting... We were part of a food tour in Copenhagen and had the pleasure of stopping in for a small beer tasting. Although it was incredibly hot, the Pub had a very good vibe to it. You can see where they brew and watch part of the batch processing while enjoying a pint. The food aroma was amazing too - although... More

We went here for dinner, and the service was a bit slow, but the waiter made up for it with his brilliant attitude. We had the beer menu and the steak, which was really nice. Cozy atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices.

I went here with a party of ten friends. They asked us to preorder a set menu, which was OK. But it was not ok that it took our starters 45 minutes to arrive. We had, after all, preordered the food. The food was OK,not at all mind blowing, and the portions on the small side for the 340,- price... More

We called ahead to make reservations and ask if they could accommodate a vegan option. They were friendly on the phone and said the vegan in our group would be able to have a meal of different sides but none of the mains, which was totally OK. When we arrived both waiters were very friendly. They were also knowledgeable about... More

We have visited many times over the years and they still deliver the best beer and food combo in Copenhagen. They are friendly and welcome kids for lunch. Couldn't recommend more and the area is full of local shopping.

This is not an elegant place. It all centres around the beer here. And the beer is very good. But I thought the food was actually very good also. Not haute cuisine, but for what is effectively upscale pub food, it was eclectic and interesting -- and tasty. I had the steak sandwich and the short ribs for a starter.... More

We like to go to this wonderful city once a year and alway's make a point of going to this fabulous brewpub with some of the best brew's in Copenhagen. On our last visit we only went for 2 of their beer's as their range of beer's is vast and diverse. To begin with we started with NEW YORK LAGER,this... More

I loved the atmosphere in this beer-orienteed restaurant. You can have a beer menu for your food menu. Beers were extremely good but food was lame. It was missing salt and even though the portions sounded very good they were quite dull by taste. Still, I recommend the place warmly.
