Great cool restaraunt

We had a group event dinner here and it was great: perfect communal plates, well cooked, great wine pairings, and unobtrusive yet prompt service.

Quite simply, this restaurant was an embarrassment to Italian cuisine. The service was equally poor with 40 minutes waiting times between courses. I had booked a table for three vegetarian people a day in advance. CPH is not great for vegetarian diners but had no idea an Italuan restaurant would be this poor. The starter: Cold bread and cold bread... More

Famo looked tempting from the outside in the freezing cold Danish winter air and it didn't disappoint once inside. I was invited here by Danish colleagues so had no preconceptions, The menu is simple - a fixed course menu (we went for four courses) some sharing platters some individual, complemented by a large wine selection. I'll confess the very helpful... More

Went there quite late on a Saturday. Was handed a menu upon arrival without any explanation. Only after looking through it, we worked out that this place has one menu and lots of different wines to go with it. The menu has no elaboration and when it was explained to us, with an Italian accent, I have to admit I... More

Just finished dinner. Lovely staff, people do try to get the best out of it on the 2nd of January. Daily changing menu, Osteria concept. Basic, home made tasty Italian food. Sometimes simple just works. Wine paring...they do need to work on it. The food it is good but the accompanying wine could be a better choice. Another bit of... More

I liked the concept of a no choice menu, but this was disappointing. The five starters (salami, broccoli and polenta, bulgur wheat (we think), beetroot and mayonnaise, and thinly sliced beef with mascarpone) were all individually nice to eat but it seemed that they were all heavily salted and / or garnished with or contained Parmesan. Consequently the overall effect... More

A good italian restaurant in Copenhagen. Perhaps a bit expensive, but products are very good quality. Menu' varies based on seasonal product.

Ate here with colleagues last night. From the moment you walk in and are greeted with a chilled glass of prosecco the evening flows smoothly. The owner/manager comes across and relays the menu describing the origin and make up of the dishes. Various courses came and went and were completely delightful . Vegetarians were also catered for. All washed down... More

I was at a wedding a couple of weeks ago, where the food was delivered by FAMO, and it was great, it's the best Italian food that I've tasted in Copenhagen for a long time. If you like good food this is the place to go.

Pricey but tasty! It's a 5 course meal. Portions are average. Lamb was the main course and the chef made a fish substitute for me as I don't care for lamb. We were a party of 5 and only three of us enjoyed the meal. Service was good but a little slow between courses. This may be the restaurants style... More

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
