super charmy

Super charmy place with a super location just inside of Christiania, embracing the laid back attitude of the freetown. Down to earth interior and staff, nice decorative food that hasnt blasted totally through the roof of the "smart-chart". Solid modern cooking at fair prices. The staircase taking... read more

Difficult to find but once there you will not regret visiting this place. Interior is very misleading. Food and wine are great.

We visited Loppen for the first time last week. From the outside it does not look like much and the stairs up to the Restaurent also looks pretty spooky, but once you enter the restaurent, it's a completely different thing. It's really nice and warm, even though it's obviously just a renovated attic. It's very spacious and there is plenty... More

went here yesterday again and food as always was amazing. I just noticed that some people have written it's hard to find. Yes that's true. So here comes an explanation of how to get there. First find your way to Christiania. Enter Christiania at the first Entrance when you walk from Christianshavns torv where the 2 streets Prinsessegade and Bådmandsstræde... More

My wife and I paid a visit to Spiseloppen with relatives whilst in Copenhagen. We were not sure what to expect as we were lead up the graffiti covered stairs up to the restaurant . How surprised we were to find a well laid out tables and a very pleasant atmosphere. We ate early evening and it was not too... More

Strange way up to the restaurant. No signs. We went a few times around and had to ask for the right way. They are located upstairs in the roof top of an old industrial building. The don't offer just wine or drinks. There is a MUST to order a meal. Made us wounder because drinks should pay out best for... More

The atmosphere is perfect and food excellent. The steak is always so good! Price for mains 150-250. Danish kr. Absolutely worth a visit, but remember this is a very popular place so you need to reserve a table in advance. The right hand side of the restaurant is reserved for people from Christiania, so these tables might be free but... More

This place is really great. I will recommend everyone to go here! Take your friend, your old mother og your company for a big surprise. First you will probably have a hard time finding the place. When you enter, you definitely think you have gone wrong. This place looks like a place for outcasts and junkies. Two flights of grafiti... More

This place is very very cool. You wind your way up a staircase that says urban dereliction, drug deals and hit men and then pop out into a cosy rustic Scandanavian eating house. At this point I was sure my TripAdvisor report was going to be a 5. And had I not ordered Venison maybe it would have been. The... More

We'd never have found this resturant without the guide book. Hidden away on the top floor, the stairs are reminiscent of 1970s New York crack house, the doors open onto an impressive candle lite loft space. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and not to expensive, particularly good value for Copenhagen. We ate here 3... More
