Long anecdotes on the unique origins of the ingredients. An endless song on the almost human features of the wine. Waiters that linger near you pretending to be a close friend. That is how it has become on most of the city’s finer restaurants. But not here. We really appreciate you being here. And we are looking forward to serve you delicious food and good wine. But otherwise we’ll give you peace and quiet, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. Don’t misunderstand us - you are more than welcome to ask if you want to know more about the food or the wine. We just don’t want to ruin your meal by stuffing nonsense down your throat.

Straight to the point

Few, but great dishes - the hummer bisque and octopus were awesome. Serving started 5 min's after order and the waitresses were kind and professional. Impressive wine list. Good value for money even - a place to recommend!

We tried this place by coincidence as they had an offer online which we bought only a couple of hours before. But what a positive experience. The food is innovative, simple in the nice way and very tasty. The service highly professional. And very cosy atmosphere. We will def go back!!!!!

Visited with three colleagues. Concept is choose roughly 4-5 dishes starter size. This works very well because you get to choose many differrent things. Food is Nordic style and of high quality - especially their signature/eecommended dishes. Eines were really excellent. Can clearly recommend to try this little restaurant out!

Small dishes (a little bit like starters) at around 14 Euros per dish. 11 dishes to choose from. Every dish was very nice. Some more exiting than others, but overall a nice evening. A fine bottle of Pinot Noir at a reasonable price. The service was really good. We will be back ...

We had 4 courses of the menu. Every course was outstanding! I loved my dessert - very interesting. Wine suggestion was ok. Our waiter was very competed and charming. Sitting not too comfortable, but ok. Worth the visit!

My wife and I had received a gift from friends - so-called AOK coupons - which would give us four small dishes. Much to our surprise, the waiter told us that we could not choose among the 11 dishes on the menu - we could only have 4 dishes selected by the restaurant. The reason was that with a 35%... More

I don't think I've ever had a waiter be quite so rude -- and so unnecessarily. It was simply astonishing. Having asked for the steak tartare, I asked if it was served with fries (the traditional accompaniment in the vast majority of places where it is served). The response almost made me fall of my chair: he said if that's... More

Our reservation at Rebel was made by the hostess from Bar’Vin, where we had lunch that same day, and the server here congratulated us on our wedding, which was earlier that day, and he even brought us a mouthwatering chocolate dessert on the house! Their menu contains a variety of smaller plates meant for sharing and experiencing a world of... More

We had high expectations towards the experience we were going to have for 1400 kr. at Rebel, but we were let down by both the food and a less than accommodating staff. As we sat down a guest explained that he did not like mushrooms and in response the waiter said that he would report it as an allergy as... More

Nice restaurant in the historic centre of Copenhagen. I enjoy a tasting menu, and I don't like table reservations with set time limits, so I opted for the "rebellious evening", with matching wines. Excellent food, laid-back but attentive service. A nice variety of different flavours. Highlights were the beef tartare with berries and the white chocolate, caramel and lemon dessert.... More
