Brilliant

Possibly the best tasting menu my wife (vegetarian) and I have ever tasted. Special mention needs to be made of the sommelier who was very knowledgable and did excellent work in terms of the paired wines, but was also very good fun with an excellent dry sense of humour. Classic new Nordic food in the more raw end. Excellent tasting menu with lots of great surprises. While perhaps not the most fantastic taste, AOC provides as many of the other top New Nordic CPH restaurants a huge variety of tasting experiences. A very large and high quality wine menu, I would say almost too big. We had nine different... More

From the moment we sat down I knew we were in for a special evening. Our table captain was warm and professional. He made us feel at ease immediately. The food was awesome and the service was impeccable. Wow.

This restaurant has 2 Michelin stars. The food was superb and definitely as good as, if not better, than some other 1 - 3 Michelin starred restaurants I have been to. I would not be surprised if this particular restaurant earned a 3rd star within the next couple of years. However, also appealing is the intimate feeling of the location... More

I went here with my husband and our expectations were high! We were not disappointed. The service was excellent. The food and wine were surprising and even challenging at times. We had a wonderfull evening!

Imaginative tasting menu, worthy of its two Michelin stars. Interesting and unusual ingredients and superb presentation.

The meal consisted of a number of small "tastings" for each of three courses, in addition to something extra prepared by the chef for that day. Each small course was beautifully presented, creative and delicious. We chose the wine pairing rather than the juice and were very pleased with the quality. The atmosphere is quiet--tables are seperated so as to... More

The food was mostly good to excellent: The dessert courses were uniformly wonderful, and the fresh Danish cheese with shaved white asparagus was the epitome of spring freshness, but duck hearts served impaled on a stick was a perversion of humor, and the elaborate presentations of the baked onion and of the turbot wrapped in juniper were unnecessarily overwrought. The... More

AOC is the crown jewel, one of the best restaurants in Europe. Food is creative and delicious, presentation is inovative and perfect, delicate. Service is first class. We had a 6 course menu, but got several amuse-bouche before, one better than the other. The onion with caviar and the dessert with berries and goat cheese are to be remembered forever.

My third visit, this time the restaurant has just recently gained its second and very well deserved Michelin star. One menu is available in different sizes. We chose the full menu with 10 appetizers followed by 9 courses. Appetizers were a selection of "bits and pieces": lots of flavours, great ideas and rather complicated! With the appetizers we enjoyed a... More
