The reason I give one of the Michelin star rated restaurants only mediocre is primarily that I don't think the food is worth the price. But now I've tried it.

I can see why Noma has two Michelin stars. Very intelligent food served by people who have worked incredibly hard to re-invent taste sensations and combinations. I can also see why it doesn't have three though. Dripping red wine onto the table, sloppy sauce pouring, a whiteboard complete with post-its partly hidden behind a curtain makes this just a little... To be or not to be NOMAntastic, this is the question. How to review NOMA with equanimity? Waiting so long for a reservation, going to Copenhagen just to experience what is not experienceable elsewhere creates such a level of expectation that makes reviewing this unique eatery particularly difficult. I started sceptical. Many people have found it fashionable to criticise NOMA... More

Everything that could be written about NOMA has been written and the food, the service and the whole is experience is amazing in a way that truly defies classification in a really good way because it is completely outside the normal range of restaurant experiences. But, at our Saturday lunchtime visit, there was something our party of four just did... More

A foodies dream This is a long meal with little tasty bites the whole afternoon There are about 40 chefs preparing the meal It's small overlooking the canal With about 18 tables but you can often get in the shared community table great wine list Try the bread - unbelievable

Perhaps other people's expectations are too high for the former No 1 restaurant in the world, but after frantically competing and booking for a place 3 months in advance (and getting lunch instead of dinner), we were not disappointed. We have been fortunate to dine at some of the world's best restaurants, and Noma lived up and exceeded many. The... More

We organized a surprise 21st birthday gift for our daughter who also happens to be a Chef. We were lucky to get a lunch booking with 8 weeks notice (normally it takes longer to get a booking) and flew to Copenhagen. It was a wonderful experience. The whole concept from buying ingredients to presenting it on tables is just amazing.... More

We have been in CPH three times last two years but this weekend we had first time the chance to taste Noma. Our reservation was for shared table. Due to construction work in CPH it was a bit difficult for taxi driver to get there (temporary bridge). We arrived on time and we were greeted by the staff and escorted... More

Noma was an experience which gave a great diversity of new flavors, smells, textures, and colors. A showcase of the possibilities that the Nordic nature offers for the pleasure of taste. It is a unique, though expensive experience.

I was lucky to get a seat at the shared table. Fantastic top class dining, yet informal and accessible. Superb wine selection with the dishes.
