Recommended for a nice business or romantic dinner with good wine

This was a great discovery. Invited by two colleagues, I am sure I would not have come across this restaurant by accident. The interior is classical and stylish, with enough space between tables to allow for some privacy. Each dish was a hit: a painting of colours, smells and taste. The quality... read more

We have been here a couple of times some years ago. We then found the menu interesting and the food very good. This time our meal was excellent. As a starter we chose white asparagus with sauce mousseline and kombu seewead pesto. Main course was pan fried monkfish with sauce matelotte, onion, champignon a la Greque, coriander and mint. We... We've eaten here 5-6 times in ~10 years and were not impressed this time. There was noise from the many tables with groups. The floor was like a drum head, causing our chairs to shake as servers went by. The wine was so-so. A "risotto" had almost no rice; shrimp and peas in rich gravy. I'm getting really tired of... We went there for our third dinner while spending a long weekend in Copenhagen. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and attentive service that was quick in offering us our aperitifs. Once we had those we had to wait quite a bit until we received the menus. Slightly tempted by the three course menu we decided for the a la... More

Probably best resturant in Copenaghen. The food was more than excellent, a mix of local couisen with French and Italian influences. The menu is super and the selection of wines is perfect. The ambient is wonderful, we had a dedicated room for our guests and very imprezzive. Service was fast and very nice. It is expensive but abosulutely a super... More

We went to Le Sommelier for dinner during our visit to Copenhagen over Easter. We passed the restaurant several times beforehand and I really liked the look of it through the window (The restaurant is closed on public holidays). I was particularly drawn to the bright yellow leather stools at the bar. I thought they looked very cheerful and they... More

This restaurant is a classic amongst Copenhagen high end restaurants. Impeccable service and very well decorated restaurant. The food is classic french with some modern elements and the wine is very good, both by the glass and by the bottle. I visited with my 2 teenage sons whom have been to quite some restaurants in their lifetime, but they were... More

Our second vist to Le Sommelier, and just as tastefull as the first one. There is no doubt that the number one priority at this restaurant is to serve really good food, and they deliver 100%. The vine list is very long, and the staff has the needed knowledge (should have with that name); the suggested wine pairing also worked... More

We went here with our good friends and this wonderful upscale restaurant , on the expensive side, but all good restaurants in Copenhagen have that characteristic. The staff is young, gracious, professional and have good energy. The property has wonderful decor, a very hip bar, immaculate table settings, and has an elegant genre. We tried the seafood side of the... More
