Nice and tasty!

Very tasty fish&chips with tartare sauce! A delicious piece of strawberry cheese cake to close our dinner: the cheese part was a mousse indeed, so fluffy. Very good service, nice waiters! As with all restaurants along the Nyhavn canal, the views were great and the people watching opportunities were too. I was disappointed in my meal. I ordered the steak sandwich. While I was eating it, the meat was full of gristle and, when I took a bite, the whole piece of meat came out. My wife had the fish and... More

My friend and I enjoyed eating here! The fish and chips were good, along with the fresh bread we got first. All restaurants here are expensive but the staff were helpful and made then visit really enjoyable!

Great location right in the action of Nyhavn. Outdoor heaters and blankets for the chilly evening air. Good menu and the waitress had the kitchen prepare my fish gluten free! it was a whole flat fish and it was so incredibly fresh and tasty! Impressive friendly service and didnt have to wait for a table.

I found this restaurant to be friendly and pleasant. It was a lovely summers evening so I sat along the canal and watched the world go by. I had a delicious meal accompanied by a middle-of-the-road wine. The food was tasty, I had the whole pan-fried plaice and it was lovely. For dessert the waitress recommended the traditional Danish option... More

The restaurant meals are good and not so expensive but the options to eat are few. The view is good and is near of a metro station and shopping centers.

My wife and I dropped in for a late-night snack-- the kitchen as closed but the server got a platter of cracklings, almonds, and a few other things together, and it was delightful! Great drink, great vibes, great place to watch cool people having a great time.

This restaurant is one of many along the Nyhavn harbor. The menu was small but innovative, which stood out from the competitors who offered the traditional tourist fare. We really enjoyed the food and the setting. The service, however, was terrible. The wait staff couldn't be bothered to take our order, offer a drink service during the meal or our... More

Nyhavn is a tourist trap so one mustn't expect a great deal. Having said that Pigen offers a friendly service and a nice selection of local and non-local beers, ales, etc. We only sat for a couple of pints and the atmosphere was great in the evening. Expect to pay £6-7 for a pint. Avoid during dinner times as the... More
