Great location looking over the canal, excellent to people watch from. Herring dish various ways along with a tuna sandwich (Danish smorgasbord style) was great food for lunch. We also had a OP Anderson Aqvavi and as my fellow TA members have said it had a kick, yeah a stampede of horses wow! Service here was good and our waiter... More

I was here on the 15Thursday September for an evening meal, I enjoyed the setting around the canal and the food was exceptional with prices being reasonable considering the area and cuisine

We went to visit Nyhavn like any other tourist in Copenhagen and at 2pm, wanted some food and I was looking for herrings . Both my husband and I tried the dish of herrings prepared three different ways with an assortment of Danish breads. My husband had a bear and I had a glass of wine . It was all... More

The food is delicious and well prepared. The staff were friendly, helpful and engaging. The decor clean and atmospheric. This meal was a real treat on a street that is filled with many that disappoint in an obvious tourist spot. Highly recommended but if no room then be wary of others on this strip!

I had a fabulous Toast Skagen and my husband enjoyed his blue mussels in cream. Of course, also the Danish beer.

Its the view. Watching people. Thats why one sits down here. Not for the food. The herringplate -- oh yes, plenty of herring but not the perfect marinade in any of them. Fried fish for main was better. But the O P Anderson served lukewarm and so was the beer. But once again, Nyhavn is for watching people ppassing by... More

We found this restaurant it had only been open a week or so with the current owners from what we understand, the service was excellent, and the food exceptional, finding a good mix of food for a vegetarian and a meat eater in Denmark can be difficult but this restaurant had a lot to please all guests, we particularly enjoyed... My husband and I decided to have lunch at Nyhavn 37 because it was right on the water and the menu looked really good. We had seen a Rick Steeves video about a drink that is popular in Denmark called Aquavit. Being in Denmark, we decided we must try it. Apparently, there is a woman's version and a man's version.... We were lucky enough to find a table exactly in the sun and right at the edge where you can really people watch! Also lucky it wasn't pouring with rain as it is currently! So the position is great just on the harbour and the service also very good. We shared a bottle of nice cold while wine while the... More

Great place in Nyhavn :) Late lunch on Friday was great :) Two of us shared burger and a beef filet to taste :) Both were great :) Not a very great and vast selection of beer, but fine. :) Good service :) Warm blankets for this season are good :) Go for it :)
