This place is a must, if you are visiting Copenhagen. The beer is amazing and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Super cool place for a hangout and some interesting beers. The place in Vesterbro is very cosy, light and Scandinavian in style. The place has only ever been busy when I have been there… which is a good sign :)

Checked this out on recommendation and it blew us out of the water. About 20 beers on tap, many from produced by Mikkeller though quite a few others from around the world. We were there on a Saturday night and it was definitely packed with people but each fight to get to the bar was worth the effort when you... More

A very fresh look at beer in Europe. They have a fabulous dry hopped pilsner that is close to the best beer I have had, and something I have tried to create in my own brewing. Sours, hefeweisen, IPA, which you normally don't get except for a select few breweries. An absolute must for beer fans. Great service and patrons... More

The name Mikkeller was new to me but the name popped up during a Google search when I spent a few days in Copenhagen during my Scandinavian motorcycle trip during the summer. I only drink what we in the UK call real ale, but expected to find Scandinavia to be a beer desert. I was pleasantly surprised and the good... More

Outstanding. If a little pricey by a non Danes standards! It's all about beer and food! Choose from a 3, 5 or 7 course taste menu. The food was delicious and not as I call 'silly fancy' as a Michelin star etc. Good Danish food to complement the beers! Each course is served with a home brewed beer. These were... More

You will do yourself a monstrous disservice if you like beer and forego this experience. Watch out for the 17.4% ABV. Given the average cost of beer in Stockholm the value was very good but the beer was better.

This place is a real must if you want to: a. Meet and observe real Copenhageners. b. Drink superb brewed beers. The choice is immense and the very friendly bar staffs' recommendations were spot on. A way off the tourist track, this place is a real gem.

We went to the original Mikkeller Bar and it was a great experience. Their beer on tap is outstanding and the unique spot was where the locals enjoyed a cold one as well. We went there on our trip about 3 times. The bartenders were the best.

It's slightly off the beaten track but worth hunting out for a great atmosphere and an excellent choice of beers. Staff and other patrons all relaxed and friendly, a very nice bar for an after-dinner drink!

The Mikkeller pub at Viktoriagade in Copenhagen is a heaven for beer lovers or for those who want to be introduced in quality beers. The beer menu has a lot of interesting types of beers and other drinks. If you don´t know what to drink, the staff is more than helpful to give advice what to drink. The prices are... More
