After reading Tripadvisor reviews of Andersens we thought we'd try it for a bite to eat before going into Tivoli Gardens for the Christmas Market. I cannot coment on the pastries and cakes and I only have myself to blame, but we had two of their hot dogs and 2 diet cokes that cost 170 DKK (almost £19). For this... More

The sandwich cost 990 DK which is a lot of money for a sandwich. Lovely bread, but not worth that much money. Definitely recommend the kanelstange, lovely! =)

Honestly one of the best bakery in Copenhagen! The cakes are delicious but also thr the croissants and the hot chocolate beverage :) A bit pricey though but worth it.

Delicious cake, great people watching opportunity and yummy hot chocolate. Pricey compare to UK prices but the whole of Copenhagen city centre is expensive lets face it.

Fantastic gluten free bread and desserts. Everything is made from scratch. The prices are far below other Copenhagen prices.

It's a very cute bakery and it has many desert and meal opportunities, it's also legit for an ordinary lunch or a 5 tea event for the price :)

On the way to Tivoli Gardens, my husband and I were surprised to find an Andersen Bakery in front of the Copenhagen Central Station. (The bakery is not only near Tivoli, it and the Nimb Cafe are part of Tivoli Gardens. ) We were appreciative of the opportunity to buy one of the fine offerings, but we were more appreciative... This is a must. After reading reviews decided to stop for lunch here to try their hot dogs - delicious! Felt it was necessary to also try one of the delicious cakes. Highly recommended!

I think Andersen bakery is the best place to try traditional Danish breakfast. Wide range of pastry, you can also choose other types of breakfast. Staff is nice and friendly. I will definitely come here again and recommend it to all my friend who is going to visit Copenhagen.
