Good food

The front door was not welcoming as there was graffiti all over it but as this restaurant was recommended to us we decided to go in. Enjoyed every meal which consisted of crab, wild prawns (expensive as doubled the portion size), mussels and half a lobster with salad and chips. Mussels were... read more

We had been here 4-5 times in 2013, 2014, and in 2015... LOVED it. Brought groups of 6-10 each time. A real treat with deeply raw, fresh, and fried full fish platters. They smelt of charcoal and felt like the outdoors. It was real. It didn't feel Danish a la fancy three meal fusion proposterity with non-filling amounts of food... More

Amazing fresh seafood served in generous portions, great service, great wine hidden in a little tired building but it doesn't need nice decor the food is reasonably priced and delicious! Our eyes were far bigger than our bellies though I particularly recommend the mussels and the tiger prawns but make sure you get some of the delicious slightly salty bread... More

This restaurant came recommended as having good seafood, particularly oysters. The oysters were fresh but very small and lacking in taste (compared to Australian or New Zealand oysters). The other seafood was average (compared to what we are used to in the Southern hemisphere). The half lobster tail was tasty but again very small. The seating was "cozy" - the... More

The freshest seafood in a relaxed environment. We weren't that hungry when we visited (unfortunately), but the staff were friendly and really happy to let us share a few dishes. Everything we had was super fresh and delicious, including the best soft shell crab I have ever eaten!

We had the seafood menu they offer, for only 145. Really good value! Mussels, shrimps, and everything else was really nice. We ordered extra soft shell crab and octopus, which was nicely cooked and tasty. Wine and service, was great - although a bit understaffed in my opinion, but they were all experienced enough to make up for it.

WE were a couple having chosen this place for being open on Sunday's and serving fresh seafood including oysters, shellfish and fish. We had Scallops, oysters, Seabass and mussels with a good bottle of Sancerre, as desert we had what they call apple pie, it was in wine steamed apples with cinnamon flavor and breadcrumb on hazelnuts with whip cream... Oysters were wonderful and the lobster was very good although only a half. Sea Bass was plump and very good. Champagne and wine very expensive. However, the atmosphere and the buzz was incredible. Very casual inside but do not be fooled this restaurant serves wonderful food. A great experience we will be back.

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighborhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
