Perfect French meal

We ate here on July 18 2015 and had an incredible meal. We had a few new Nordic meals and Brasserie Degas was a wonderful respite from the new Nordic. The fish stew, foie gras salad, turbot and monkfish all were wonderful. We were too full for dessert, but the staff brought a wonderful plate of... read more

I was there on my birthday and was disappointed. The food was boring, nothing special and the waiter was obviously sick as he snuffled the whole evening. It is not ok to get food served from a sick waiter.

The best fricking waiter ever!! A awesome dessert (Apple pie)! A great selection of rum! And a above average main course! For the money paid its worth 6 out of 5!

I came to the restaurant and had a 3 course menu. The three courses were excellent. I specially like the duck, but the dessert was also very good. The service was attentive and the prices were not bad for danish standards.

This small place has wonderful food, excellent service and a nice ambiance. And reasonable prices too! We recommend it highly.

There is a lot of good things about Brasserie Degas - had an excellent mature burgundy from a very reasonably priced list. The chips were also excellent (and as someone who prides themselves on the appreciation of potato products cooked with fat, this is high praise indeed), but other items less so. I had the starter of scallops, langoustine and... More

I went here with my brother as we were travelling together, what a great find, very well priced (London prices) for what you get. Our waiter was so helpful recommending and explaining the dishes. Would highly recommend if you don't want to pay the Michelin star prices but still get the high quality food.

My husband & I recently dined here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary! Service, food, and the ambience in this little restaurant was truly amazing!! And well worth the taxi ride from our hotel. We both ate the fish starters of scallops & smoked salmon. For our main courses, I had the turbot & my hubby thought the monkfish was the... More

This place ain't cheap - but totally worth it! I went here with my sister, we had main course and dessert and it tasted delicious. (Go for the duck.) I will definitely come back here and then enjoy a 3 course meal!
