We had a perfect dinner with one of the best food ever. We are picky on salmon coming from Iceland, but the Raw Marinated Salmon and the Pannequet of Smoked Salmon were perfect. The Ballotine of Turbot with lobster and saffron sauce was so good we cleaned even the last drop of sauce from the plate. The desserts were as... More

Our evening meal was promptly served and full of value. Typically of a good quality restaurant bread and other extras were included in the price. A word of warning, the tasting plate of desserts are full sized!

This was one of the finest meals I have ever experienced. The mussels were prepared in a casserole with mushrooms and an extraordinary pastry topping. The main was Turbot layered with lobster and salmon and presented with a light sauce that looked like a beautiful painting. All of your senses will be satisfied. The dessert was a chocolate lava stack... More

We (6) stayed at The Andersen Hotel for two nights. Booked on line based on TA this was a Monday evening. Quiet. not all restaurants open. However this has to be one of the best restaurants we have been too (there have been a few world wide) took a 10 mins stroll from the hotel, if this was on the... More

This was my choice for our first dinner in Copenhagen; one reason was the good reviews on TA, the other was it seemed a comfortable walk from our hotel (the Andersen) near the Central Station. We were well looked after; the owner is extremely pleasant and obviously keen to make your dining experience one to remember. The menu is varied... More

We ate at this restaurant our second night in Copenhagen. The food was very good; the atmosphere was pleasant and it was within walking distance from our hotel. The price was not inexpensive nor was it over the top in comparison to other restaurants in the area. All in all a very pleasant dinner.

Ate at Brasserie Degas after a week long cruise. The experience here was outstanding from the moment we walked in the door. Went early which was great. By the time we left, the restaurant was full. The two male waiters were very friendly, polite and very informative about the food and the ingredients. My husband had the set menu which... More

I don't often write reviews, but this was a fantastic experience - gorgeous food, including a dessert which was pure theatre (a globe of white chocolate filled with fruit and creme patissiere, opened up by having hot raspberry sauce poured over it). The service was excellent. I'd recommend it unreservedly.

On arrival the restaurant seemed pretty sleepy. Inside the door there was a set table with noisy Norwegians, singing and yelling. I had read on Trip Advisor that this would be a terrific restaurant, but was a little sceptical. But my scepticism would become ashamed. We were meet with a young smiling waiter who escorted us to the table. Surprisingly,... More
