With small kids we took a chance. The food was melting on our tongues. The kids where testing the straffs patience. Excellent service. In all fairness - not for kids. But what awesome food for adults! France fantastic.

This is a real French brasserie in Copenhagen, run by Frenchmen, but with the Scandinavian precision in cooking and service. Fine food, great choice of wines and good desserts, you'll have a good French meal here.

Followed Trip Advisor location, but soon determined the restaurant had moved location. However a quick call to the restaurant and some good directions, we arrived 10 mins later. The call was worth it, the food was Michelin standard and the service pleasant. Recommend it for anyone who appreciates good food without the pretence!

Excellent Danish-run French bistro whose facade and simply decor might at first mildly disappoint as you enter the restaurant but whose food and service proves its excellent reviews are well warranted. Exquisite food and staff! Much more pompous restaurants could learn from these guys how to provide wonderful food and service at a decent (albeit slightly expensive; this is, after... More

We visited here on a Saturday night in March. The restaurant was not packed but nicely full. The tables are a nice distance apart The two waiters had their hands full but always made time for pleasant chit chat with the customers. The service was excellent. The explanation of the dishes when they arrived was thorough. The food. Wow. Fish... More

We went to this restaurant on 14th of March and given the casual nature of the interior I wasn't sure what to expect. The food was delicious, lobster tails and fois gras to start, perfectly cooked steak for main and delicious mini deserts to finish. Our waitress was excellent, friendly without being over the top with perfect english and very... More

We went to this restaurant because it is no. 8 on Tripadvisor for Copenhagen. Based on the comments we had high expectations and we were nothing less than impressed. The restaursant is a little outside the center but still only a 10 minutes walk from the Central Station. The restaurant looks nice but the thing that really maskes it special... More

On arrival (about 8 in the evening) we became at bit sceptical since only two tables were occupied. Luckily a very friendly waiter made us stay. We tasted ballotine of turbot (DKK 210) and duck breast (DKK 178). The food was exquisite. With two glasses of nice champagne, a very good bottle of red wine, 1 apple pie and 1... More

Went there in December, but had to come back. Again a very positive experience. Food - French with a twist - is very delicate, and service is at top level, and very informative. Location may not be the most central, however it is definitely worth to go there.

It was my wife's birthday and also the final evening of a long weekend visit to Copenhagen, so we wanted to eat somewhere special. Perfect choice! Although Brasserie Degas was very quiet (late Sunday night), Peter could not have been more attentive and enthusiastic and the food was superb. Both fish main courses were excellent as were my snails starter... More
