Not in the tourist part of town but near our hotel so ideal for us. Waiting staff were lovely and as you would expect spoke excellent english. It was our anniversary meal and the atmosphere was just right. I had snails to start which I hadn't expected to see on a Danish menus. Excellent. All food was good and desert... More

Eating out in Copenhaguen can be a hostile experience for your pocket, but this restaurant offers a good value for your money. Good products and a more than decent wine list (many of them served by the glass). Smiling service and beautiful place. Recommended!

We had dinner booked for December 26th after visiting the beautiful Tivoli Gardens. We went the long way to the restaurant so make sure you have proper direction. It's about a 15 minute walk from Tivoli Gardens but it is not in a great location, not unsafe but it is off the beaten track with no other cafes etc around.... More

Four of us went for dinner just before Christmas. Restaurant was not that busy. Really nice service. Standard three courses unlike the smaller taster meals in most other restaurants in Copenhagen. Decor a little odd. All blacks and red and nothing like any French brasserie I have been too. Food was nice but a little boring compared with other innovative... More

Brasserie Degas offers a great value 3-course dinner at a very affordable price. The wine list offers a selection of good wines, also at very decent prices, is well worth a look. Service is good and staff knowledgeable. Well worth an evening when in Copenhagen.

We ate there at New Year's Eve. It was a special menu, including fish and meat. It was expensive, but the food was really very delicious, the dessert as well, not to mention the different kinds of French wine and champagne we were served during the dinner which were excellent. Nice and friendly staff, very effective considering that the restaurant... More

We went there between Christmas and New Year, it was one of the few restaurants open during this period. We were very impressed with the meal, service and wine. The atmosphere was very cosy & warm. The food was spot on. They say that eating out in Scandinavia is expensive, however I would be hard pushed to find a meal... More

For the price, I'm impressed of the high quality food and the cozy interior. The selection of wine by glasses were not bad either. The service was actually not bad considering it was a one man show. Paid about DKK1000 for two courses for two people including two glasses of wine per person.

Went there for a company dinner. All three courses where good. All them had a slight touch, looked good and was tasty; nor "standard" and neither too fancy. Sizes where reasonable. Prices seems reasonable from their web page
