We ate here early evening and had simply great service and fabulous food. The two waiters were friendly, helpful, attentive, and very personable. The food was just fabulous. We had the salmon fantaisie to start which was beautifully presented. As were our duck and monkfish mains accompanied by tiny side dishes. We were advised about our choice of wine (we... More

I had a scallop starter with foie gras, and there was two scallops and a huuuuge chunck of foie gras.. I barely managed to eat a third of the very saturating foie gras before i threw in the towel. The main i had was filet of ox. The meat was fried a little to hard at first, leaving it a... More

We ate here last week and had a very good evening. Food was very competent if a little heavy on things like lobster sauce and what I feel is slightly old fashioned French cooking. Excellent central location near the main station and fairly short menu meant that the food was fresh.

We decided to check this place out after reading all the rave reviews on TA...and it certainly didn't disappoint. The space is nice-ish (super clean, and well laid out with a big bar in the middle and tables around the perimeter), but kind of generic and sterile. The management and servers were excellent. Super attentive, friendly, and professional. The food... More

The restaurant is close to the central train station and a great little find. There is a set menu for 295 Kr which was great value for money, especially as the food is very good and there is a good variety with lots of fish and vegetarian dishes. We were a group of 4 and none of us were disappointed... More

After eating a lot of great food (Thanks Tripadvisor) on our 3 day stay in April this was our favourite. Here are the dishes we had: *Beef filé with 4 small sides and pepper sauce. Perfectly cooked medium the beef was very tender and the sides as well as the sauce tasted great. That the dish looked like a work... More

Originally, I thought what's the point of writing another 'excellent' review, from what previous reviewers said you can see it is an excellent restaurant, with lovely food, excellent service -i really liked the French accent of one of the waiters so I made sure I complimented him on the food often enough so he ended up like looking after our... I went here whilst on a business trip and it was only because my hotel was nearby. Agreed not in the swankiest location, since looking at Tripadvisor I can see that others think like me and it is great. The food is absolutely superb and the service attentive but not intrusive. I sat at the bar and had the steak... More

What a great place. I'd kept this place in my mind based on Trip Advisor but didn't make a reservation. It's actually not in a great location in my opinion. Too close to the train station and there was sadly a homeless person across the road. But please please please don't let that put you off. It's a fantastic place... More

Right in the middle of the bustling central Copenhagen off a quiet side street, Brasserie Degas offers a small yet interesting menu, with a nice friendly atmosphere and really great staff. The restaurant was busy but we were able to get a table straight away. Food/concepts/menus were explained thoroughly to us and before serving the meals were explained once again... More
