Not to be missed when in Copenhagen

This is one of the restaurants which is always on the short list whenever visiting Copenhagen. We've been here a few times already and have always been more than happy with the food, the service and the overall experience. Highly recommended!

An exellent restaurant only 10 minutes walk from Tivoli. The food is exellent, and the service is very good. We had an exellent dinner, and both the dinner and the wine was very good. It is a place we can highly recommend for a romantic evening in town.

During our recent short stay in Copenhagen, we located this restaurant from the top Copenhagen restaurants on Trip Advisor and made a reservation for Friday evening. Service was attentive and friendly, the dining areas are cozy (three small areas), the décor is simple but nice, and best of all, the food was great! They have a limited menu and offer... More

The restaurant was a little busy when we arrived and we were a bit worried that the service wouldn't be too good but it turned out to be fine once we were seated. The menu is not too extensive, but then neither is it too expensive either. We enjoyed the two fish dishes that we had and they were beautifully... More

Not in the tourist part of town but near our hotel so ideal for us. Waiting staff were lovely and as you would expect spoke excellent english. It was our anniversary meal and the atmosphere was just right. I had snails to start which I hadn't expected to see on a Danish menus. Excellent. All food was good and desert... More

Eating out in Copenhaguen can be a hostile experience for your pocket, but this restaurant offers a good value for your money. Good products and a more than decent wine list (many of them served by the glass). Smiling service and beautiful place. Recommended!

We had dinner booked for December 26th after visiting the beautiful Tivoli Gardens. We went the long way to the restaurant so make sure you have proper direction. It's about a 15 minute walk from Tivoli Gardens but it is not in a great location, not unsafe but it is off the beaten track with no other cafes etc around.... More

Four of us went for dinner just before Christmas. Restaurant was not that busy. Really nice service. Standard three courses unlike the smaller taster meals in most other restaurants in Copenhagen. Decor a little odd. All blacks and red and nothing like any French brasserie I have been too. Food was nice but a little boring compared with other innovative... More

Brasserie Degas offers a great value 3-course dinner at a very affordable price. The wine list offers a selection of good wines, also at very decent prices, is well worth a look. Service is good and staff knowledgeable. Well worth an evening when in Copenhagen.
